Stayed for 4 nights in a Ocean View Cottage which was just several minutes walk from the main hotel and absolutely idyllic. Hidden it really is as we had some challenges finding the hotel but once there you are mesmerised by the views, the wildlife and the overall charm. The cottage gave us a real escape and privacy and you... More

This is not a 4 star hotel, nor would you want it to be..it is a gem as it is. Tucked away down a 2 km drive in its own cove with bears and humpback whales passing, it is a treat. We had cottage number 3 - looks like a shed from the outside but inside perfect with lovely bathroom,... More

This was a beautiful place with amazing food and hospitality. Wish we had longer. We had a little one and they were very accommodating. There was a cot set up and a high chair at dinner. Our cabin was perfect and the grounds immaculate. 😃 and we saw a black bear while we had dinner.

Our time at hidden cove lodge was awesome. We sat on the lawn and watched pods of killers whales swimming by. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly. We enjoyed every meal we had here. The lodge is totally remote and was peaceful and very relaxing after a long drive from victoria. Our room was clean and had... More

I cannot recommend this location enough for those that want to get away and enjoy the quiet and beauty of unspoilt Canada. The views are out of this world with staggering sunsets over the cove every evening. We stayed in the one bed cottage which also had fantastic views of both the cove and the beach. The cottage was ideal... More

Situated about a mile down a track from the road you reach the Lodge and are presented with a wonderful view of the Cove and the wider channel beyond. I am not sure how to describe this place - unique is probably best. Is it basic, yes in a way but there is electricity and plenty of hot water cleans... More

This is a completely unique location with its own ambience; excellent food and very friendly personal service from owners and staff. We stayed three days and could happily have stayed longer. Whales, eagles, heron, cougar, bear and deer all in and around the cove. This is not a hotel in the conventional sense: if you demand valet parking, internet, etc.... More

Hard to fault anything here. Location and scenery were amazing. This was a real escape without sacrificing comfort. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was first rate and Dan was a great host. To top it off, "Tide Rip" picks you up from the wharf for an amazing (pre-booked) bear and whale watch tour. No WiFi here, but good phone... More

We stayed in Cabin 2 in July 2015 and it was a lovely stay. It's tucked away from the main lodge by a short walk but this gives a wonderful sense of privacy. Beautiful view of the ocean from a large deck, and an immaculately clean cabin. Skylights in each room to see all the stars at night from your... More

The owners of this 'lodge' are not people worth spending time with. Please pick one of the many other businesses at Telegraph Cove! Very unhappy, very unwelcoming, very rude and mean to their staff. Such an unfortunate welcome to Canada for those travellers who come from afar. Don't stay here.
