Based on Tripadvisor reviews, my family of 4 booked a stay in the cottage at the lodge. We wanted to stay in the 2 bedroom cottages, but all were booked. I will say the 2 bedroom cottages had a much better view and looked newer. The place could use some serious TLC. Rubbish littered the small cove that even prompted... More

This lovely lodge is in a quiet location and it is easy to find, with lovely views out across the sound. Dan made us feel extremely welcome in his own unique way (!), as did Sandra, they were brilliant hosts. The food was excellent. Our bed was comfy. But as with many Canadian homes, the wooden construction meant that sound... More

Thank you Dan and Sandra for a lovely time 'in your part of the world'...what a lovely secluded place you have and the people on the same boat trip of ours were very envious of us...sorry we didn't get to say goodbye

We stayed here for four days in June in the main lodge. It's a wonderful place away from it all, with wonderful views and grounds. Freshly cooked evening meals by Julia were a delight, coffee and cake on the on the deck, watching the birds and widlife was superb. We spent most of our time there, in and around exploring... More

Stopped by while kayaking and saw the beautiful property, visited with Dan (the owner.) Lovely recently renovated cottages, and attractive rustic West Coast main lodge overlooking Johnstone Strait. Will definitely try this place out next time we're in the area.

This time stayed in the lodge main building. Lovely room with shower. Great dinners cooked by Julia. Great conversation with the owners. They should be very proud of this fabulous place. If you want to wind down it is perfect , if you want excitement whale watching and grizzly tours nearby

This hotel is very secluded and should be romantic, but it's not. I feel the owners have been in the hotel game too long iit feels as though your a paying hiderence. Not much love here any more it's a job. Shame really. I know their off the grid but Dan goes out of his way to reduce your conveniences.

As others have reviewed, this could do with a tidy up and refurb. I think Dan said that it was coming? There was no special greeting when we arrived although we met bot Dan and Sandra later who were both pleasant. They tend to circulate at dinner time. The food is lovely with a great variety, you book for dinner... More

The location is literally fantastic, the lodge is signposted off the main road to Telegraph Cove and down a 3 km track, you really do feel like you are going to a hide away wilderness lodge. Outside and around the lodge there is a small bay, with a jetty, and a real "hidden cove" behind a small island. This place... More

We had a hiccup with our room having been told by our agent that we had a cottage but we had a room in the lodge. Putting aside our disapointment we had an excellent visit. Dan and Sandra are both friendly and helpful and the evening meals we had were excellent with the fish and crab dishes being especially good.... More
