Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone or the word will get out and ruin everything. Earl Grey Lodge is a very special, almost magical B&B, one where the laws of time and the pressures of the real world seem to be suspended. Phil and Clare are the magicians who make all possible. Overstating the case? I think not. Let the facts speak... More

My partner and I stayed at the Earl Grey Lodge over an extended weekend this Feb. Phil and Clare provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Our room, while a bit cramped, was perfect for our needs, spotless, and comfortable. The breakfasts were fresh, healthy and a great way to start our day of skiing. We loved the small touches -... Phil and Clare are the very gracious owners of this lovely bed and breakfast located minutes away from the ski lifts and Ski lodge. The rooms were very clean and charming. You could not ask for a better breakfast. Well you could. Every time my husband expressed a wish it was there the next morning. We were very impressed. We... More

Trip Advisor reviews gave us high expectations which were not quite met. The good: the rooms are in the same building as the restaurant, deservedly known as the best in the area; the owners are convivial and accommodating; and the common rooms for the guests are nice. However, the rooms are tiny and plain and the breakfast in this B&B... More

Phil and Clare (owners and hosts) are by the best thing about this place. From the minute we walked in they were attentive to everything we needed, even helping us find vegetarian restaurants to eat in on Christmas Eve. The next best thing is location, the lodge is just a short stroll to the ski lifts, easy walking distance even... More

Thank you for your review we enjoyed your company, we apologise that we were unable to provide you with vegetarian options while you were here due to the set menu on Christmas Eve. We do provide vegetarian, gluten and Children's menus while the a la carte menu is running. We look forward to seeing you again. Best wishes for 2015.... More

Clare and Phil greeted us when we arrived and were pleasantly surprised throughout our short one-night stay. The rooms were on the small side but good enough to stow our gear, plus the common area kitchen and living room gave the place a cottage feeling. The only thing I would mention is the walls were somewhat thin -fine for humans,... More

We stayed one night with Clare and Phil and had dinner in their restaurant. Very nice lodge and clean rooms with comfortable bed. The rooms are small, but there is a nice living room and big balcony. We agree with other reviewers that the restaurant is very good and an important reason to stay here. We had a lovely dinner... More

My husband and I just returned from a two night stay at Earl Grey Lodge...we had never been up to Panorama before and this was a perfect first experience! Even the drive up is gorgeous, the lodge is tucked into such a peaceful setting..view from our room alone lowered our blood pressure! Room was cozy, clean, well maintained with a... More

I have stayed in multiple accommodations with my wife and kids at Panorama, and these were by far the best. Before you book straight from the hill, consider the EGL. Rooms were well appointed, and decor in the entire lodge was immaculate and a nice blend between mountain cozy and cosmopolitan. The liquor selection (and is there really any more... More
