We stayed with a group of friends in July and couldn't have had a better experience from the moment of check-in to check-out. We were greeted with open arms (socially distanced of course!) by Clare & Phil (the loveliest, most helpful and accommodating hosts we have ever experienced at a B&B).

The property is close to absolutely everything in Panorama Village. A three minute walk to the pools/hot tub, Gondola, and the Alto Restaurant on the Hill. There is a liquor/General Store at the bottom of the Gondola that takes just minutes to get to too.

We had access to the whole property including the fire pit, BBQ, and the greenspace where we played bocce and spike ball. There is also a small kitchen area that has a fridge to keep your drinks and snacks in - there is cutlery, glassware, and dinnerware to use as well as a dishwasher (cause who wants to wash dishes on vacation?).

Breakfast was fantastic with an assortment fresh meats, bread, fruit, juice, yogurt and delicious coffee.

Rooms are a great size, all with their own bathrooms equipped with Rocky Mountain Soap amenities. The beds were incredibly comfortable too and had fans that kept you cool during the summer nights.

I have to mention how clean their property was too. There was ample hand sanitizer and disinfecting spray to clean down any shared surfaces like the fridge & tables. We felt so comfortable knowing that our safety was kept top of mind during our stay!

We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation with the best hosts. We have already booked our next stay at Early Grey for the winter!

Wow! We absolutely loved our stay. The hosts have truly thought of everything one would need throughout their stay. We had many options for breakfast, comfortable beds, an area to keep our snowboards and even a boot drying contraption. The location is absolutely perfect. 2-5 minute walk from the lifts, hot tubs, restaurants etc. The Cabin restaurant in the lodge was DELICIOUS and we did not hear any noise from the restaurant during our stay. We would HIGHLY recommend to families, couples and friends!

I travel extensively for both work and leisure (100+ nights last year) and have missed my normal adventures due to COVID. As a result I also have very high standards (some might even call me picky ;). The trip out to Panorama did not disappoint and Claire and Phil were amazing hosts. It felt almost like we were able to escape to Europe with the style of the lodge and the breakfast spread. Guests should note that this is a bed and breakfast not a hotel and so the common space is shared, and the rooms are situated for sleeping (e.g. just a bed and bath).

The common space was ample with two outdoor spaces for sunshine at any time of day, a kitchen area, and a TV area, plus a 'business centre' which had a good enough wi-fi connection for me to do zoom calls for work. The bedroom was cozy and had enough space for us to put our dog bed on the floor and still comfortably walk around the bed, a closet and a bath with shower and tub. The bedding was clean and crisp and comfortable, I especially apricated the two duvets in the King guest room (we learned this trick in Europe and have converted!). I also loved the organic bath products they use and plan to buy some for myself when I get home!

What really made this trip amazing were the hosts Claire and Phil. They welcomed me, my husband and our dog Ruby in person (and with treats for Ruby), told us about the area and what was open, and provided us with tips that made us feel accepted like a local resident. I would highly recommend and am already planning for our next visit.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend, it was a very last minute trip so we booked wherever we could. It was our first time staying at a b&b and we loved it! We were always worried before because of privacy and such but it was amazing. The rooms and everything look exactly like the pictures on the website. The room is definitely big enough for two, and everything was really clean, no noise at night, and we didn’t really see other people except once at night. Claire greeted us on arrival and was very welcoming and friendly, she gave us a quick tour and explained everything. She made herself available the entire stay and made sure we were comfortable approaching her with any questions. Breakfast is continental, but during our stay they did have boiled eggs and lots of good jams! It’s free parking and a short walk to the slopes/Pools. We never had to take our car out and just walked the extra 3 minutes. For the price and location I thought it was very fair. It had also snowed that night and when we woke up that morning, they had cleaned the snow off our car! Which we thought was just over the top! That’s why I’m giving it 5 stars.

We recently enjoyed a weekend away to Panorama and stayed at the Earl Grey Lodge. The setup of the B&B was perfect for our group getaway. All rooms had a very comfortable bed, private en-suite and all the toiletries and accessories you need. There are multiple common areas on the property which were very inviting, easily accessible, and well equipped. The outdoor space is particularly nice. They have a large garage to store your bikes, golf bags or other items you bring, and plenty of fridge and kitchen accessories available for your use.

All spaces were very clean, well maintained and plenty of added COVID-19 policies in place. We felt very comfortable and safe staying there during this time.

Phil and Clare are the best!!! They are so welcoming and kind and go above and beyond to host you at their beautiful place. Every morning they prepare a wonderful breakfast and the views from the dining area are spectacular. I can’t recommend this place enough for your next trip to Panorama!!

Thank you Phil and Clare for making our trip so memorable. We can't wait to come back and see you again!

Just spent a wonderful night at the Earl Grey Lodge. Phil and Claire were absolutely AMAZING hosts for our party of three. They’re there when you need them, and at a distance when you don’t. I usually feel bed and breakfasts to be a bit stuffy, but this was the complete opposite. Their property has enough room to spread out, a very “mountain culture” feel, and access to all the amenities of Panorama Resort. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with some unbelievably nice sheets. Breakfast was very European; meat, cheese, good bread, and coffee tea to perk you up.

All in all, a fantastic stay and cannot wait to go back. Ditch the Invermere clutter and spend some time on the mountain!

Cozy and welcoming atmosphere has been created by our gracious hosts Phil and Clare Marshall. Onsite dining is excellent - best in the resort during these COVID days. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. All Covid precautions were in place allowing for social distancing, masks, and sanitizing. Staff are friendly and attentive to guests needs.
The Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located in the heart of the resort but tucked away just enough to provide for a peaceful and very enjoyable stay.

I really cannot say how much I enjoyed my stay at the Earl Grey Lodge. From incredible service, exceptional cleanliness, amazing staff, unreal restaurant, even better wine. The Earl Grey Lodge is worth every penny, and hands down has figured out how to be respectful and direct with all guest in correlation to COVID19. Not only did we feel safe and respected but also felt compelled to apply this same respect and courtesy to everyone enjoying the property. Do not miss the Earl Grey or Cabin Restaurant when in Panorama.

Stayed 4 days to ride on mountain and heli board.
Great location near base. Owners were incredibly attentive and nice, even picking up us TWICE after we missed the last shuttle back form the heli-port.
Food at restaurant next door was solid.
Rooms are cozy but perfect.
One piece of advice, there are great shared hot tubs (3 in varying heat) so bring a bathing suit, though note they are a bit of a walk (300 feet or so) so have a sweatshirt or something to throw on and off for the walk. (Towels are supplied by hot tub)

Visited for DH Bike race. Had use of garage to store and work on bikes which was a blessing. Detail is evident from organic soap to comfy beds. Wildlife visit the magical backyard. Dream place to BBQ. Healthy breakfast options. Had access to ice for our cooler on the hot days. Clare and Phill put a lot of love into this property and so much personalized care and attention to their guests' stay. We will be back!
