We travel and rent a lot and are never very critical of the places we stay. However, the high price of renting a unit here increases my expectations just a bit. We were here in summer, and came mainly for the use of the pool facilities as we all enjoy swimming. My first gripe was with the reservation itself. I... More

We booked a standard room with two king size beds (for 4 adults) in Pine Inn for one night before heading to Banff and Jasper National Parks. For just about $80 it was a good stay. It was old, but good enough for that low prize. We could and have used the outdoor (warm water) pool and sauna at the... More

I have been there just this last season. I knew from their website that most of the amenities are closed but did not expect to be that bad. It was only one pool open, several green areas were still in work, dried branches everywhere, huge areas in construction, mud, dirt, dust, etc. The gondola did not work, being with my... More

My family stayed here the week after ski season ended so it was extremely quiet around the resort which we loved. Over 3 days, we had the pool to ourselves all 4 times we went. The water was nice & warm and my 4 year old daughter had a great time. The food in the bar was a mixed bag.... More

We had a really well equipped 2 bed apartment for 2 of us just perfect and clean although the resort was quiet as we were between seasons and the weather wasn't the best, we had a great stay there. Every requirement was catered for. This was a timeshare exchange for us and I have to say it is one of... More

My husband and I stayed in a studio condo at Horsethief as part of a time share extra vacation. We were there for a week during the off season so we didn't expect everything to be up and running, but the first weekend we were there was the "May Long Weekend" so they had more restaurants/stores/amenities up and running for... This was an ok place to stay at. Not much real close by. Staff at central check in were friendly & helpful. What sucked was that there were no counter staff in sight. Rooms were clean & acceptable. You can't ask too much for a budget inn I guess. What I didn't expect besides having no counter staff in sight... More

I stayed here for a week in Janurary and really enjoyed everything about my stay. The room was a bit dated, but other than that I had a blast. Only downside is that the mountain was extremely icy so I barely snowboarded. But the food was delicious.. especially the tomato basil soup!! The staff were really nice and very accomodating.... Have to say we had a wonderful time out of season of course for new zealanders if that was a season with rubbish snow. I'm really looking forward to going to see it when they got some really good snow, because we just really enjoyed ourselves. Also enjoyed going down to and Invermere which was a town only 20 minutes... More

Thanks for coming over to see us from the other side of the world! Next time you come over, be sure to also check out the Lake Windermere Whiteway in Invermere - it's the longest maintained ice skating surface in the world (as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records). More

Literally ski in - ski out. Ski right from the back door of the Lodge. The ski locker is next to the back door. Modern rooms. Cleaned regularly. Hot tubs outside, with changing room and access from inside the Lodge were very hot and relaxing after a long and hard day of skiing on the mountain. Two Bar-B-Q’s just outside... More
