We spent two nights in late September (shoulder season) and found it very comfortable and friendly. The shoreside location is very pretty, and the lodge and cabins retain the comfortable look of an earlier era. With few guests, we had the run of the place and enjoyed walks into Naramata, wine tasting on the Naramata bench, nice continental breakfasts, and... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is exceptional. The view is great. We plan to return and rent a cabin with friends. If you are looking for a quiet place with beautiful surroundings, close to the wineries...this is the place

Wonderful location waterfront, nice lawns stretching all the way down to the beach. Cozy main building, oldish feel to it, but perfectly clean and with friendly, new managers (who were unfortunately not yet familiar with the area). A bit expensive considered there aren´t many extras, but good size rooms and location makes up for it.

We were dismayed that long-time managers had left the property. The new managers need a few years at the helm before they understand the spirit. It is an expensive property with not many extras, but the secluded duplex cabins on the water are great. Good size, BBQ, decks and a 10 minute walk from the small town of Naramata. The... More

We have just returned from this beauty of a retreat. We spent 2 nights there with another couple. We LOVED this place. It was clean and quiet..despite the fact that it was at full capacity including families with children. We had a B& B room and it had everything we needed including a little sitting room with a view of... More

The new managers (James and Kathy) are wonderful; when we arrived there for the first time, they greeted us in a friendly manner and also helped us with our baggage. They were very helpful through the 9 days that we stayed and we enjoyed our talks with them. The place is beautiful and clean; our cabin was very comfortable and... More

Have stayed here at Sandy Beach Lodge many times... it is a treasure... 300 feet of sandy, peaceful lakefront in rural Naramata. The hosts, Mike and Linda, are outstanding...they work tirelessly in the background, are always friendly and welcoming like 'old friends'... and are incredibly responsive to any problems. The cabins are comfortable, clean, well laid out and the setting... More

Great customer service, clean and VERY comfortable accommodations, secluded with AMAZING views. The beds are so comfortable it feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely stay here again and recommend that you do, you won't be disappointed!

I consider myself lucky to have stayed at Sandy Beach Lodge Resort since after speaking with the families staying in the self catering lodges it seems the place is in huge demand and there are wait list for the lodges on site over the summer holidays in Canada. My Mum and I chose however to stay in the main lodge... More

We have been going to Sandy Beach Lodge every summer for the past 20 years. We LOVE our week at Sandy Beach Lodge, our kids grew up there and are now in their mid 20's and will not miss coming! The cabins are clean, comfortable, well equipped & steps away from a sandy beach. There's a swimming pool, ping pong,... More
