We came when they just opened at 5p.server was amazing and friendly. We had the house soup, a thick and rich tomato soup with fresh parmesan cheese that came in a bowl so we can have a hearty helping, that was great! Food was delicious and filling and prepared great. Id recommend this place in a heart beat. Fantastic

This is an old hotel - so do not freak out when you see that the carpets are threadbare on the stairs. The price of rooms is reasonable for what you get - stay on the lake side if you do not need a kitchen. The lake rooms have a microwave and a fridge. Rooms are clean - staff are... More

We stoped at the Leland hotel during a day of shopping in Nakusp. We ate our lunch on the outside patio which has the most incredible view. You look down the Arrow lake towards Saddle Mountain which is situated in a long lush green valley with magnificent towering peaks on both sides. On this day the water was still and... More

Went on a trip for a soccer tournament. The hotel is quite old, but the rooms were sufficient. The bed was clean as were the rooms. The boys that came along loved their rooms (kitchenette, etc.). The staff was pleasant and helpful. It's an old hotel, with lots of character and it goes at a very reasonable rate. Also had... More

We stayed in the Honeymoon suite for one night. I love history and antiques so this hotel was perfect. The restaurant had great food and the pub was friendly and fun. Prices were very reasonable . We would absolutely stay again if we ever go that way again .

We stayed for one night at this 120+ yr old hotel in Nakusp. What an experience! Sweet room with a comfortable bed. Our lake view was blocked by a tree so that was too bad. I also thought that the room was expensive for what you got. The bathroom was tiny but that was OK, it is a very old... More

Stopped here for lunch while travelling thru. Beer was cold and lunch was pretty average. Service was good and the view from the deck was great. If your going to stop here do it for the view not the food.

It's not often I want to stay in bed and look out the window. Here at the Leland my sleep was so restful and the view so beautiful... I spent a little longer in bed this morning. Thank you to the other reviewers for suggestion room #12. Yea it's rustic but I love the huge old windows that let the... More

After checking out 2 other rooms, we too took Rm. 12 because of Carie B's review. Pics of that room are on previous review Feb. 2013 - "Interesting - Very Rustic" by Jim B. The bed WAS comfortable. Cigarette smoke would seep into the room from "somewhere" in the evening, tho'. The hallway's carpet is the downfall of this place.... More
