The rooms we stayed in were huge! Delightful, clean and private. Could use a few updates in the linen department but overall, I loved it and would certainly recommend this location to others! Rates were very reasonable I the summer.

During our mini holiday to the Kootenays we decided to stay an extra night. We did some research and came up with the Huckleberry Inn at the bottom of the hill heading to Nakusp Hot springs. Great location, only a fifteen minute drive to the springs at the most. We rang the bell when we got there and were greeted... More

For some reason Nakusp seemed quite busy and so we decided to venture north to the hot springs. We noticed the sign for the huckleberry inn and thought it looked quaint. We were informed by the young man looking after the yard that we needed ring a bell for service. We were met by a slightly disheveled fellow who I... More

We reserved a room at this B & B where we had stayed in the past. When we arrived the owner met us at the door - he did not know we were coming although we did reserve - he was unwell, very rude. I would venture to say that he is having issues with his health and cannot comprehend... More

We (a threesome) landed in Nakusp one afternoon during a recent late-May road trip and required a one-night stay. We did not wish to lodge in one of the typical motel-type settings we saw in town, so toured around the outskirts a little, and found this property had their 'vacancy' sign lighted. After stopping in, and checking out a 'larger'... More

Lovely quaint relaxing place to stay. Very reasonable rates. Room well equipped. Host very friendly. Those reviews of the host stating that he was rude, have no sense of humour. Do you not know anyone with a sarcastic sense of humour? He loves it when you snark right back at him. Excellent choice of free movies for the VCR. Close... More

I would describe this facility as a cross between a small hotel and a B&B. I have never stayed in such an intimate facility but loved it. I am forever now spoiled and will be looking for similar hosts or B&B’s. It is very close to the hot springs, close to town and the hosts were very down to earth.... More

After reading the reviews on Huckleberry Inn, we were were skeptical of making reservations there. Since everything else was booked at the time, we had no choice. So were kept our minds open and hoped for the best. Upon arrival, we were given a warm welcome by the owners and shown to our room. The rooms were well stocked with... More
