It is a bit out of the way but a nice bit of heaven in the forest. Have been a few times but usually only day trips. Splurged and stayed in cabin that had a bedroom (double bed) and loft (two double beds) and a fold out couch. Would have been crowded with couch out but was great because we... More

So after driving towards banff for a few hours we decided to take a 2 hour detour to go to the hot springs "spa" to relax. There were kids screaming non stop in the pools and the staff did nothing . They also hogged the plunger pool so guests could not even go in. We figured ok nine oclock is... More

We stayed at the Fosthall Cottage and these cottages were so cute. It came with a private balcony overlooking a forested ravine. The staff were pleasant. The hot springs was great. The Kingfisher Restaurant served some tasty meals. All in all a very quiet and restful place. Loved it here and would recommend this to anyone.

This is my second time staying here and it was wonderful. Without any plans or intentions of staying, we ended up for the night in a cute cottage. The price was $189 (plus tax) but we decided to splurge. Why not??? LOL The weather was great, the hot springs were needed, and the service was very helpful. We will be... More

Really enjoyed staying here! Group of 5 rented Chalet 10a and it was very nicely appointed. It also has a great view of the lake. Good living area and kitchen. Nicely furnished as well. Very nice master bedroom with king bed, 4 piece bathroom, tv, etc. Loft queen bed with ensuite, (2) pullouts (1 in the loft & 1 in... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. It would be helpful if your comments could be more specific and if a review would not wait until a year after your stay to materialize. I am sorry that you did not like our setup, but I do not see any misrepresentation from our side. We post our menu, a map, a... More

We just camped in Halcyon for two days and were very very disappointed. Mosquitoes were terrible - then the RV area is so small to turn any unit about. In fact, we were nearly hit by someone who could not get their 5th wheel in. Construction going on in two or three sites (and these are ones that are easier... More

So nice except for a little kid who kept yelling 'cannonball' before jumping into the pools repeatedly - such a pity his parents and grandparents, all four of them illiterate so couldn't read the the NO JUMPING sign...... and no staff appearance at poolside during entire 2 hour soak. Otherwise - really lovely. We were there while a storm was... More

Our family rented 2 - 1 Bedroom cottages and 1 loft cottage for 3 nights. We all loved it. We experienced it all - the pools, the spa, renting a canoe and paddle boat, the restaurant, the playground, and the hikes around the area. Our only real complaint was the fact that the 1 bedroom cottages didn't even have simple... More

We rented a king chalet for a weekend getaway, it was a beautiful place lots of space, very clean and reasonable prices. The food at the restaurant is some of the best I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. The way they conducted themselves when we had an issue with the chalet made us forget the issue(... More
