I chose to stay here after reading the positive reviews. I was told when I made the reservation, that it was a smaller room and so I wasn't that surprised when indeed my room was tiny. It was pretty basic, not dingy but not amazing either. This little place, specifically room 4, was just an okay stay. The cold water... More

Thanks very much for your input it's always great to know what needs to be improved upon to make your stay more comfortable. Tap is fixed and a new bed ordered, most of our beds have been replaced but rm#4 is one of the last. We are always working on upgrading the property and you are correct that this room... More

I really enjoyed my stay at the Riverside. The room was very charming, like a tiny little cabin, and had everything I needed: good water pressure, a wee fridge and a microwave, air-conditioning, and a comfortable bed. Although most hotel names are misnomers, this one actually IS right beside the river. The motel was also very suited for my dog.... More

Hotel was very quiet and we got a good sleep before continuing on our road trip. Room had a fridge, stove, sink, microwave and a good sized table. Room had a wall-mount A/C that worked but don't expect miracles. The room was warm in the afternoon but the day we traveled was warm (32C) in the late evening we just... More

My daughters and I stayed in the Riverside Motel for two nights while in Grand Forks for a wedding. This is a small, privately owned roadside motel. It probably dates back to the '60s, but it's freshly painted and updated inside and out. We had a room with two queen beds. The room was very spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean,... More

A friend and I stayed here en route to Vancouver and had the best night's sleep of the trip. New memory foam mattresses are amazing. The owners were very friendly on arrival and even shipped my coat to me in Vancouver when I left it in the room. Highly recommended stopover!

We stopped at the Riverside Motel because of the TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. This is a roadside motel straight out of the 1950-1960's but has been updated and was a clean, pleasant experience. Rates in this area are very high in season even for these little roadside motels. Most of the lodging in the area is the owner... More

My partner and I have stayed at this motel a few times and found the room (#1) very clean, beds comfortable and the motel atmosphere very quiet. We even had the priviledge of using a private sauna. JP and Angele are wonderful people, accomodating and treat you like family. When there was a problem with the cable they bent over... More

I needed an overnight stop in Grand Forks during a road trip, and it was the reviews posted here which prompted me to try the Riverside Motel. It proved to be a solid choice for my requirements, and I'll echo what others have stated here: it is an older motel and independently owned but crucially it is very clean, affordable,... More

After driving up from Moses lake Wa. Landing at the Riverside Motel, just fit the bill. JP and Angel made us feel like we were home. Nice comfy room, an area with chairs outside to sit and enjoy the sun. Just made it a great way to end the day. They provide BBQs at each unit with everything needed to... More
