Paul and Janet are great down-to-earth people who run a lovely bed and breakfast. The guest quarters are private, modern and spacious, as well as comfortable. The decor is traditional and simple, and we particularly appreciated that they have kept the open spaces open, not filling the walls or rooms with needless clutter. Breakfasts were traditional and tasty. Paul is... More

I had a lovely, restful stay in this seaside farm-based B & B. Janet and Paul are warmly welcoming and Paul's breakfasts are the perfect wake-up call after a good night's sleep in a superbly comfortable bed. You may not need to count sheep to fall asleep, but you can enjoy watching the herd in the field behind the house.... More

A working sheep farm. Great rooms that are separated from the rest of the house. Very tranquil. Janet and Paul are very nice. Paul puts together an excellent breakfast. Gabriola is a beautiful Island. We plan to stay again.

Staying in a farm B&B usually trades off cleanliness for the attraction of animals. Three Gates Farm is a most pleasant surprise in that the B&B is spotlessly clean and tidy. The furniture are of high quality, and the beds most comfortable. Together with very helpful hosts, Paul and Janet, the farm is an outstanding B&B. The 20-acre farm has... More

We stayed for a couple nights while cycling around Gabriola Island. The farm is right near the water, with a great place to watch the sunset just a few minutes walk up the road. The room we stayed in was very large, gracefully furnished, and with a very comfortable bed. All the rooms are in a seperate area of the... More

We stayed at this wonderful "working sheep farm" bed & breakfast with two other couples September 19-21. The 3 guest bedrooms are entirely separate from the owners part of this home with separate entrance, living room with fireplace and dining room. The 3 bedrooms consist of a very large king-bedroom with ensuite, a good size queen-bedroom with ensuite and smaller... More

Our best memory of this past summer was our 4 day stay at Three Gates Farm - a speactacular property on about 30 acres of land with a view of the ocean. The entire rental portion of the house is tastefully and newly renovated. A spiral staircase welcomes you up to your room. You have a choice of a queen... More

If you are looking for a relaxing time, away from city life, Gabriola island and Three Gates farm is the place to go! We had such a pleasant 3 days over there just recently. The farm is located near beach and right on the pastures of sheeps and goats. Our room was big and very clean. Just remodeled. Big bed,... More

We stayed here for four nights with our three children. The owners, Paul and Janet, made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay, making sure that we had everything we needed for our baby. The farm is a ten minute drive from the ferry port. The rooms are large and clean with really comfortable beds, and a view of the... More
