It is a rare thing to find accommodations that so exceed expectations. Ships Point Inn succeeded. Fanny Bay is a lovely bay that constantly changes and with each change, gives one a new viewing experience. As the tide goes out, enjoy observing the oyster beds and other small marine life as you walk though shallows. In the afternoon the tide... More

We have friends that live in the Fanny Bay area and we like to come visit every so often. We usually just visit for the day or sleep in their loft. We had heard good things about the Ships Point Inn B & B so we had decided to book a couple of nights. What a wonderful visit we had.... More

We felt like we entered a fairytale and its charm is revealed in its fullest only after a little time to really take it in! A delight in every way, Robert and Agathe are perfectly delightful and accommodating hosts who clearly care about what they are doing! Every place the eye rests is a point of beauty and delight! Fantastic location and absolutely wonderful hosts - Robert and Agathe! The view from the Bay Room was amazing and I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The eagles and sunsets were spectacular. Thank you so much.

Found this gem quite by accident as wanted to stay in a B&B in this general area for one night . . . Would love to come back for a holiday anytime. A lovely old home kept immaculately; gracious and friendly hosts who serve delicious gourmet breakfasts. A quiet and peaceful retreat!

This is a very comfortable home which boasts 4-6 rooms Monsieur and Madame were very pleasant to chat with and be sure to ask about the history of the building. Breakfast was fit for a king. We thoroughly enjoyed our night here. A great place to over night when travelling from Comox to Ucluelet-Tofino.

Went on vacation on Vancouver Island with no set agenda - just booking hotels on the fly as we arrived somewhere. Found Ship's Point on Booking.com by chance and once we were there, we didn't want to leave and end up staying for 3 nights. Breakfasts were always gournet and ever changing. Conversations with the varying guests each morning was... More

Was it really 2007 when Robert and Agathe first started operating Ships Point Inn at Fanny Bay? We believe so. We are certain that we discovered them their first year, and have been back every year since to this wonderfully hospitable, beautifully-located bed and breakfast. This is a beachfront B & B with wraparound ocean views that cover more than... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ship's Point, even though we are not frequent users of B&B's. The Ship's Point avoids the overdone frilliness that typifies too many B&Bs. Instead, they provide beautifully-decorated rooms with the cleanest rugs I have ever seen in a commercial establishment. That theme of rigorous attention to detail was a constant feature of our experience... More
