This lodge is in an absolutly beautiful setting, just a few hours from Vancouver. The gormet dinner on the outdoor patio was a real treat. The staff was warm and friendly and very helpful. Even the owner stopped by to chat. We loved kayaking at low tide and seeing all of sea creatures and the seals swimming around us. We... More

We had a nice time at the West Coast Wilderness Resort. We stayed for two nights (Thursday and Friday) in the middle of August. We found our time to be enjoyable; however there were some aspects of our trip which were less than favourable. THE GOOD: -We were allowed early check in, despite arriving 3 hours early! Very kind of... More

Our stay at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge was fantastic! The rooms were clean and spacious (we stayed in a Forest Suite). The staff was friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel were gorgeous. The offered adventures were amazing! We went on a nighttime kayak tour, which was absolutely incredible! The extras were reasonably priced and well worth it.... More

Dropped the kids off at the YMCA summer camp near Langdale and headed over to WCWL (the adult summer camp ☺) As you leave the car and walk through the right side of the lodge you get to experience the same feeling and view that everyone else has commented on. It is truly spectacular. They have positioned their main lodge... More

There are many packages to choose from, my wife and I chose the kayak lessons, we chose a forest view room ( suite 303 bloody awesome room), if you can afford it get an ocean view room but 303 was huge and great. We also ordered two meals a day at the restaurant. The people who work at WCWL are... More

As the name says, it is a wilderness lodge, but don't let that fool you. It is a first rate accommodation in a beautiful area of British Columbia. The food, service and accommodation was wonderful. The activities were perfect, the owner took us on a zodiac tour of the area, which was an absolute blast. We also did a great... More

I booked the fly & dine that West Coast Wilderness Lodge offers in conjunction with Tofino Airline. The flight up to the lodge was spectacular with a great view of Skookumchuck Narrows. The flight was only 12 minutes long and we were well taken care of by our pilot Josh. The package includes a welcome cocktail; ours was an apricot... More

Every year I make it an absolute must to spend some quality "R and R" time at the West Coast Wilderness Lodge. After a very scenic 1hr. and 20 min. drive from Vancouver via the Langdale Ferry and a mid-afternoon check-in,sitting on my forest-view deck, I was greeted by 2 Eagle's ,one perched on a nearby tree-top and her mate... What a great location! The lodge is perched on a bluff overlooking the convergence of several ocean inlets. We stayed in a garden view room that actually showed some water from our deck, but with several levels of patios in front of the lodge we had plenty of views of the ocean when we were relaxing during the day. The... More
