Many other reviewers need to realize that this is the north. By these standards the place is clean and perfectly acceptable. There are not a lot of extras but it's a decent place to get a night's rest. A short walk or drive down the highway you can find anything else that you may need. The service is also exceptionally... Left KindleFire in my room when checking out. Called hours later; Terry acknowlelged they had it and referred to the room number and promised (verbally and later via his email) it would be mailed to me. Two months and several phone calls/emails later, no response. I assured him I would reimburse his costs. So much for his written promise. Very... More

This motel serioulsy need some upgrading and updating. The room seems clean, but it was so old and broken down that it was hard to tell. There were about a hundred grasshoppers just outside of the room, only waiting to come in. The man at the reception was nice, but we couldn't wait to get out of this depressing place.

Very nasty lady at the front desk, went to check in tonight July 17, and the women was very nasty and told us that are reservations were for the 18th and then got very pissy when we asked to look at the room before we checked in. Room was shabby to say the least. After a couple more rude words... More

By the reviews I thought it would be better than I thought it was. It needed some remodeling. I ask for a ground floor nonsmoking. When we got there they gave us an upstairs room, they said all grounds floors were smoking. Before we left I had falling and broke my arm and I told them I didn't want to... More

Looking at the web site and reading the reviews did not portray the property as it truly is. The place is very run down, we asked for a non smoking room, as my granddaughter has asthma, and we were put right next to a room where people were smoking, big overflowing ashtray right out front of the door. The room... More

For $75 I couldn't have been happier! This place is old, dated and very tired, but in spite of that, it was very well maintained. Clean and a GOOD mattress. Breakfast in the morning included fresh fruit, toasted bagel/cream cheese, coffee/teas, toast and more. Good enough for a single guy for sure.

Just recently stayed at Peace Villa Motel on a trip up Alaska Hwy. $70 w/o tax with senior discount. To put this in perspective, paid $89 in Fort Nelson & $130 in Laird Hot Springs for similar. Hotel is older, maybe 3 star at best but room was clean, fridge, microwave, wifi and sparse free breakfast. Staff helpful. Room a... More

Stayed for two nights in a large size room with two beds. The carpets and linens looked new and clean and the beds were comfortable. There was also a mini fridge and microwave in the room. The wifi didn't work right away, but after I phoned the front desk the problem was solved. The bathroom was a bit on the... More
