A nice friendly welcome is always a good start and we got a nice one at the Nomad, complete with homemade cookies. No frills straightforward motel on the roadside so easy to find and park outside your door. Everything is clean and the bonus of a full kitchen was a pleasing surprise.

The Nomad Motel was super clean, owners were very friendly and answered all my questions. Price was around $50 a night. Had a coffee maker, microwave, fridge. Located on the main drag within walking distance to restaurants. There was a $2 charge for wifi.

As you reach the reception you shall be greeted by a lovely lady who seems to be the owner. She is very polite and shall appraise you of the policies of the motel like no smoking in room etc etc. The rooms in itself are awesome. Most probably they have recently renovated it. Everything is new in the room. And... More

My boyfriend and I took our friend up to Fort St. John for work. On the way back we decided to share driving and drive through the night. Needless to say, we got tired fast. We got to Williams Lake and couldn't get a place to stay because we only had his dad's credit card. So I took over driving... More

Clean & quiet retro motel in the historic little Village of Clinton BC. Friendly owners, great cookies & parking right outside your room. Best value I've found in BC for an impeccably kept facility. Perfect for motorcycle touring groups doing the Duffy Lake loop or Cariboo-Thompson loops.

Very friendly welcome from proprietor. Room was spacious and spotless. Really good value for money. Nearby hotel just a few metres walk away provided a very good bar and restaurant. We were kucky to get a room so booking is advised.

The Nomad appears to be a fairly typical older motel, but once you step up to the office, you notice the difference. A wonderful welcome by the proprietors, along with some excellent homemade cookies, made us feel good about our choice of motels right away. When we entered our room, it smelled clean, and it was clean. The price is... More

We were on motorcycle on a rainy day when we stopped at the Nomad Motel. The owners were very helpful in helping us dry out as well as suggestions for food. The rooms have been recently renovated and our room was very nice. We were able to park right outside our room, which is very helpful not only for motorcyclists... More
