I like motels in general - the parking is usually easy, the rooms accessible and when the beds are comfy and the rooms clean they are a great place to spend the night. The Desert Motel was just what I wanted, easy to find, easy to park, the check in was fast and friendly, the cost was excellent, the room... More

No nonsense place with clean room, good bed and a good sleep in Cache Creek. Staff was helpful and everything worked as needed. Surrounded by restaurants and other places right in town, was all i needed for a night on the road.

I was checked in by a surly night attendant. When I went to use the toilet I discovered that the tank was empty. I turned on the water line and, after it was filled, it leaked, causing the valve to open, a bit noisily, at regular intervals throughout the night until I got up and turned the water off. In... Stayed 1nite here and injoyed the history of the area from staff and one great security guard there. The inn has a pool which helped me over come the extreme humid condition there that nite. The room was great so was the air condition and the quietness of the area. I'll stopped in there again next year.

Booked online stop over on our way to Shuswap lake. What a nice surprise, lovely clean spacious room, complimentary pool towels, lovely clean outdoor pool, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, friendly family orientated staff. Best price I have paid in a long time.

Clean room however staff was unorganized. We clearly disclosed we had a dog when reserving the room. They acted as if it was a surprise and at one point let the dog out - almost hit by a car. No apology.

Nice to be able to park at door. Friendly staff. Rates reasonable for BC. Room clean, quiet, but bed uncomfortable."......................................................................................

This is an older motel with average everything. The room was clean and the bed was okay. This is a budget motel and really what are you expecting for $70 a night. Cache creek is a tiny little town so this makes for a good one night stop over.

The check-in process was quick and friendly. The rooms were basic but clean. There weren't a lot of amenities, which was okay with me as I was there to explore the Cache Creek/Ashcroft area. Lots of very interesting history in this area ...the tourism office in Cache Creek was excellent!

We checked out 4 motels in Cache Creek first. Each one had an overtone of the ewww factor and distinct smells, whether carpet or cleaning supplies or cooking.....even the office was a mess at one. How can you sell your rooms if you can't keep your office clean? These 4 were the Bear's Claw, Sage Hills, Bonaparte and the one... More
