Couldn't drink the tap water. Bottle water they provided was left out in the heat. A/C didn't work properly and no communications from staff when the power went out. Some kind of hose left in the pool that took up a good portion of the deep end. No hot water in the shower and very little water pressure. Owners/operators appears... More

Pillows are hard as a rock. It is clean but some spots like the bathroom window need work. Floors creak really bad, not much water pressure in the shower. All in all next time i will just keep driving.Coffee is not good, but the thing that bugs me most is the person at the front counter could hardly speek english... More

I’m quite surprised at the high ratings for this property. Cache Creek is a shabby little town with drab little motels and this one is no exception. The property appears to have been built in the 1950’s and doesn’t appear to have ever been remodeled or significantly updated. Our room was a queen on the front side of the motel... More

When I first arrived they had a room for me and my pets and the carpet was still wet from just being cleaned. They advised me to keep my shoes on & keep my pets off the bed....No, I said, that is not acceptable. They gave me another room and gave that room to another poor soul. It was ok... More

Spent one night on our way through. Nothing fancy, the place is in need of some maintenance. The hostess was very nice, but I do not understand why the high ratings. I feel I'm being generous giving them a 3 .... should actually be a 2.5

We travel through Cache Creek at least every two months and have stayed at four other properties. One of them is way more expensive than it should be given what you are offered--the other three offer varying degrees of poorly kept accommodation--charging you for the privilege of mold, dirty carpets, mismatched furniture, broken furniture, noise air conditioners. This place is... More

Is there such a thing as too nice? It was bordering on overkill, but they meant well. The place is perfect for a one night, get some sleep, then leave. It was clean enough and had the usual stuff. The price was right, so no complaints there. If you're going to do some racing at Eagle Motorplex, this motel is... More

The staff were very friendly - opened the door for us, made checking in easy, and tried to give us treats on our way out. The room was clean and comfortable with nice decor. Fun decorations in the rooms made it obvious that the owners care about the details. The price was to be expected, but turned out to be... More

This old roadside motel, is not what the other reviews sell it to be. Looking like it was built in the 50s, and nothing been done since... Oh maybe a paint job. The owners, nice - but have little grasp for the English language, which makes things difficult. The breakfast in the am, makes me wish I had just paid... More
