The room was clean as advertised. The woman working at the counter was very professional - stayed at 3 hotels on my trip and she was the best. I would stay here again for sure - only downside is the lack of food choices, but this is a comment on the small town not the hotel. more

Went to this hotel as a stop over to vancouver from edmonton, the service was great and the room was cool and clean. I called the day before fro a reservation and the lady fit us in. Breakfast in the morning was nice and on the way out the door the lady asked me if I would like a coffee... more

We stayed at the Glacier Mountain Lodge in Blue River as it was conveniently positioned on our way to Jasper. We were not expecting too much but we were pleasantly surprised. Blue River is small – a couple of restaurants, a gas station, a heli-skiing resort … that’s about it! The motel is easy to see from the Highway and... more

We stopped here whilst ski touring Canada. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms in a town with little competition. This hotel is basicaly a 'stop for one night on the way to someware else' place. Whilst I'm sure Blue River is a nice place to live, there are no obvious diversions in the evening for a... more

Thank you so much for the friendly comments about our hotel. I really appreciate it and hope to see you again. And yes, the hotel is a great place to stop over when you're on the Yellowhead. It's also a great place to stay if you're working in the area or you're interested in outdoor sports. Thanks again!

My wife and I stayed here on our way to Alberta and back from Alberta as it was about the half way point. The lodge is very nice, the rooms are nice. There is a hot tub here and it was very clean as well. The front desk was very helpful and included in the price was a nice continental... more

I loved this place! Very clean, spacious room, hot tub, very stylish and clean. Friendly staff! We had a late dinner down the road at the grill and steak house. The food there was excellent and the staff was providing top service. A nice surprise after a long drive from less impressive Travelodge in Edmonton... more

Hot tub was clean and hot. Breakfast was good Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. We had a small pet and the walls were thick enough that we didn't hear the neighbours. The dog was very quiet. It cost $15 extra for the dog. We ate at the Sandman (just down the road) and it was a... more

I stayed at the Glacier Mountain Lodge for one night in July. I chose to stay overnight in Blue River because it is ideally located half-way between Vancouver and Edmonton. I picked the Glacier Mountain Lodge based on reviews, and I was not disappointed. My standard room with a kingsize bed was quiet, clean and spaceous, had a refrigerator, high... more

We stayed at the Glacier Mountain Lodge a couple of weeks ago. We were supposed to be staying in Clearwater but the roads were very bad, due to the weather. I did not want to stop in Blue River AT ALL due to a bad experience at a different hotel last year but it was best for us to get... more

We picked this motel in Blue River only because it was a convenient stopping place on the way to Jasper and really didn't expect much. The front desk staff's greeting was warm and friendly. They cheerfully provided a map of local walking trails and in response to our request for a laundromat, instead offered to do our laundry at no... more
