This is our second time staying here, last August and now February. Both times the experience was wonderful. The rooms were clean, the pool was wonderfully relaxing and the restaurant service and quality of food was second to none. I believe timing is everything. The pool was busy when we arrived but after supper, families had retired and the pool... More

my gf and I spent a night on our way back from Revelstoke skiing. Hot springs are a wonderful treat after skiing!! But just go there for the day ( day pass ). There apparently was a junior hockey game that night somewhere by. The walls in the hotel are very thin.... Noise all night and early morning. At check... More

I love this hotel. This is my 4 year going to ainsworth. Love the hot springs. They are amazing. Love nelson the near by hippy town. The restaurant in the hotel is pretty pricey so I recommend driving to nelson for meals. It's a beautiful drive anyway. Yet to visit in the summer because we enjoy the springs in the... More

We began our night with a soak in the springs and loved it. Decided to stay and have dinner at the ainsworth hotel restaurant. We would go back in a heart beat! Food was uncredible and decadent. Totally worth the price and the setting was professional and charming. One of the best take aways was the service: our server, John,... More

We are never disappointed when visiting Ainsworth. The hotel is first class, and the food in the dining room is 4 star. The caves make this hot springs visit extra special, and the service is always superb.

Service was very good at the front desk, at the pool entry area, and in the restaurant. Accomodations were very clean and comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Pools were warm (37 C), hot (40 C), and hotter. Was all good!

We stayed at this hotel a couple of times and generally enjoyed our stays. Hotel is oriented to catering couples and is not family friendly (2 top floors are for adults only). Loved the pool and the cave but definitely will recommend to come early in the morning with the family when pool and springs are open for the hotel... More

It's wonderful to hear that you were able to relax! We like to think that we are family friendly, we do have two floors dedicated to accommodating families and children. Only the third floor is reserved for adults and older folks who are looking for a less noisy room. If you're looking to stay at the resort again, definitely give... More

We came here for a short trip just after Christmas. The pool was nice although a little cool. The view of the lake and the snow covered mountains was nice. The best was the cave where the water was much warmer and very relaxing. The staff was helpful the only negative was the place was really crowded because the holiday... More

So glad to hear you had a good time! It's very beautiful in the winter for sure and we have definitely had many people up here enjoying themselves this month. The springtime is also quite nice, not so many crowds and the flowers will start to come out :) More

We have been attending hot springs on a monthly basis for years. This particular visit was the worse ever. Appeared pool was occupied beyond capacity, or perhaps because main pool temperature was much cooler than normal, everyone crowded into hot pool area to warm up. Regardless, water was much much cooler than normal, appeared much dirtier than normal, in truth,... More

We're sorry to hear that your vacation wasn't as relaxing as expected! The resort was operating at max capacity from the 23rd of December well into the beginning of January, so yes, crowding is to be expected at that time. The winter holiday season tends to be an extremely busy time for us as we are one of the only... More

This hotel is quite nice. It has the hot springs connected to the hotel. You have extra hours in the pools when you stay at this hotel. The restaurant has a great selection of foods and many good vegetarians choices. The one thing that is missing is robes to wear to the pools. There are also units with kitchenettes .

Thank you for spending your weekend with us! We hope everything was relaxing and enjoyable for you. We are diligently working on the bathrobe situation; it's a matter of housekeeping and not having enough space to store all the robes. However, we are creating more space and expect to have brand new robes available for all hotel guests very shortly!... More
