Isolated location where total relaxation prevails but held to ransom by the only restaurant in the area. Accommodations were clean & quiet complete with fridge, robe & coffee maker. Free WIFI but was spotty. Staff were all very helpful & courteous. The hot springs features a natural cave like no other with a very hot water fall inside(abt 60C). Limited... More

This was our 3rd stay, and they have done a very nice job of updating and improvements. We thought the $144 was high for the size and view of our room, but that includes unlimited soaking, which we took full advantage of! The beds were comfy, linens nice, and I loved the addition of guest robes. The staff were all... More

Besides the very clean and comfortable room, the staff in every area went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The cave and pool is truly unique and worth the experience. We arrived close to 7 pm and still had plenty of time to have a good soak in the cave and have a tasty dinner in the... More

The only positive is the amazing water. It is clean and unique. The hotel is very overpriced for the room you receive. We paid 250.00 for the best room they have. It is next to the stairs, door to the pools, and the ice machine. I picked this room because it was the only one that seemed nice enough to... More

Although we have been to Ainsworth Hotsprings numerous times before this is the first time we stayed overnight at the resort. The room was tastefully renovated and the view was fabulous. We enjoyed the pools twice on check-in day and again the next morning during the guests only time. Our dinners were extremely tasty, except the temperature could have been... More

The area is beautiful, make sure you take the ferry across the lake. There isn't much to do but relax in the area. The food and lodging is expensive, the service is so so. The rooms are nice, the beds are too soft and have rubber pads on them. The walls thin. The best part of the trip and purpose... More

Yes, weekends and holidays can be busy times. Thank you so much for the nod to our maintenance and cleaning crew. Seasonal rates can sometimes appeal to travelers seeking "alone" time. Chef will be unveiling his new menu this fall. I hope we get to see you again. More

This was our third visit to Ainsworth, the first to stay in the resort itself. The walkout room was perfect, super comfortable beds and updated room decor. Enjoyed the complimentary pool passes which made the actual room price very reasonable overall as we made three visits to the pool. The morning "guests only" entry from 8:30am to 10am was superb... The staff was helpful and very accommodating. The restaurant was clean and had a great view of the lake. We watched a bald eagle while having a beer from the window of the lounge. The hot springs are awesome! Not the usual sulfur smell that some hot springs. The caves are like walking into a sauna and a couple areas... More

While we didn't stay at the resort, we did thoroughly enjoy visiting the hot springs. Such a unique and relaxing experience (especially during non-peak times). The hot cave experience is not for everyone as it does get really hot in there (104 degree water, and the air is heavy hot), but a refreshing cold plunge (14 degrees!) helps cool the... More

There are many health benefits attached the hot and cold theory. One can get both here at the Ainsworth Hot Springs. Thanks for taking a moment to share your experience. I agree it can be annoying when some don't respect the peaceful enjoyment that others are expecting. We hope to see you again. More

This is the 5th year I have chosen this property for my Tour Group. The architecture is phenominal, the Hot Springs are unique as they feature a cave accessible from the pool which are both attached to the Hotel overlooking Kootenay Lake. Rooms are large, modern, comfortable, many with lake views..Great staff in hotel & restaurant..Fabulous food in restaurant with... More
