New owners have made a difference, but not in a good way. Although the new "No smoking" policy may be a step in the current trend direction, the increase in price and the reduced selection of breakfast choices (Mostly bland or dramatically over seasoned) do not make this a good value. The rooms are dated with poor temperature control and... More

My husband and I stayed here and it was terrible the customer service was just the worst we have ever received from a hotel! The girl at front counter was unprofessional even down to wearing a batman t shirt. She said she was the manager which just made it worse! The room was smelly and we juat hated our stqy... More

No AC, windows don't open, no bathroom fan, smells of smoke and if you want to fall asleep to the TV (not good either) the lights must be on in the room because the switch for the lights turns off the TV.

Spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful as we are new to the area and had many questions. I thought our room was beautiful and I felt like a queen when laying in the soft and comfortable bed.my husband had gone down to check out the continental breakfast and a kitchen staff member got him a tray, he surprised... Having spent 3 nights while on a course I hope I never have to stay here again. I didn't find the bad smoke smell people complained about but the rooms were freezing. They changed my room 3 times and the heat did not work in any of the 3 rooms. With the thermostat on high the room didn't get any... More

We stayed here because there was no where else to stay. The beds were comfy but the hallways and the overall hotel stunk of cigarette smoke. This is probably the last of hotels anywhere that allows smoking in their rooms. The front desk said that the hotel caters to the construction trade and that's why the hotel smells so bad. Too... I stayed at Franklin's for one night only and had booked there simply because it was a quick business trip and the hotel was across the street from the event I was attending. The hotel is old, dated, and not well kept. Take the other reviews about the smell of cigarette smoke very seriously. I was in a non-smoking room... More

The shower was never tounch still the old 1970's shower stall. When we tried to go for something to eat they cut off the food at... More

Spent an evening here this past weekend(11/26/11) and was a little surprised how run down the public areas were. Our room was nice, recently renovated with tasteful decor, downside was getting to the room. Hallway carpet badly stained and stunk of cigarette smoke, we almost turned around and left but we were only sleeping there for 7 or 8 hours.... More
