I booked this break before reading the reviews and nearly cancelled! I'm glad I didn't because this was a lovely, friendly, characterful hotel. Yes it does have some small faults but you need to consider it is a rustic type country hotel.The food was good and of good quality not pub standard. Service could be classed as slow or leisurely.
