We have chosen to stay at the Villa Franceschi on several occasions when in the Venice area on business. We hav e also stayed at the Villa Margherita, a nearby sister hotel. Both hotels are family run, and we have found always been pleased by the comfort and decor of the rooms and the friendliness and efficiency of the service.... more

The worst experience ever and it happened on my wedding night! My husband checked in the morning of our wedding, had an aperetif with our guests and we got married in a beaufitfull venetian setting walking distance to this hotel. Great hotel! Charming location just 15-30 min drive to Venice (depending on traffic), surounded by a park. Check out the pictures. Huge rooms, big bathrooms, some with jacuzzi. Very clean. Decorated in venician style. more

I very much enjoyed staying at this villa located in Mira Porte. I believe it belongs to the same owners of the Villa Margherita. The room was spacious and the decor was superb (murano chandelers). The only down side was no shower, only a hand held shower in the bath. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast... more
