The whole experience with the hotel started bad, when we arrived at around 16:00 and were told that the check-in would be done in about 2 hours because they allowed somebody else a late check-out ( most probably by charging them ). We were very upset of course because the say on the reservation check-in is done starting 13:00 hrs... more

I have stayed at a number of 4* hotels in places around the world and had a lot of praise to say about them, but the Alba I just cannot recommend. Perhaps this is 4* in Bulgarian standards but compared to 4* hotels in other countries, this really has a lot to learn. I understand from the rep that she... more

This hotel was really a 3* pretending to be a 4*. The room pillows were like stone, the towels like sand paper and you could not get hot water during 3pm - 9pm. Complained to the Manager and Thomson Rep, but they did not care. Stay here at your own risk. more
