Coming back for the 5th or 6th time, we spent 5 nights here in August. Leo and Myrjam are wonderful hosts who will help with anything you request. The rooms are very spacious, the outdoor shower is amazing, the pool is large and clean and the (home cooked) food is excellent. The location of the lodge, in the middle of... More

Landing in Colombo this lodge was our first contact with Sri Lanka. We were a bit tired when we arrived , but after one day the atmosphere of the lodge, the quality of the food and the way we were taken care of, revitalised us. We couldn't dream a better start to visit the country

A wonderful week spent enjoying this wonderful riverside jungle lodge. Leo and Myrjam are friendly and very interesting hosts, and the site is fascinating and teeming with wildlife. We took advantage of the canoe and bikes to explore locally and enjoyed the experience immensely. Thank you Leo and Myrjam for your wonderful venue.

When a place is this good most of the positive remarks are already written. Our lodge style room and the service were superb. We enjoyed three nights of utter peace and time to reflect in a location that is poised for the airport. If you enjoy a family atmosphere you will enjoy the hosts/owners and their magnificent effort to meet... More

My partner visited the Lodge last year and has been talking about it ever since so i'm really pleased we managed to stay for a few days after visiting the bottom of Sri Lanka for a week. It is very convenient for Colombo airport. The grounds were much more spacious than I realised, the lodge was huge, Its hard to... More

I stayed in the Ging Oya Lodge on two occasions in January and February 2014 on arrival in Sri Lanka and on departure. I had stayed in a wide range of accommodation in Sri Lanka and this was undoubtedly the best value I came across for the standard of room and facilities. The bungalows are very roomy with a large... This place is a joy. Set alongside a creek, the quality of grounds, cabana style bedrooms, facilities (fantastic pool) and accommodation and its tranquil but convenient location (40 mins to airport, 5 mins to beach, quick tuk tuk to Negombo) with free use of canoes, bikes etc, delicious breakfasts, snacks, set dinner.if required, all add up to remarkable value for... We stayed only for one night (02/02/2014), but it was so perfect! You can ask anything to them, they are so friendly! I am a very difficult eater but their food was just perfect. This is a place where you can have a great time, you can relax by the nice swimming pool and take a walk inside the area... More

A 20 min drive from the airport, this peaceful spot proved to be the perfect place to start off our two weeks in Sri Lanka and a good reason not to go to Negombo. Hosts Myrjam and Leo are warm and helpful, their food is tasty and the bungalows nice. Good value for money.
