A beautiful property with a swimming pool in the centre of the hotel surrounded by the rooms on three sides and restaurant and garden on the other side. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service good and efficient. The overall feeling is one of an old world sprawling colonial bungalow.. Elegant, but too difficult to maintain. The hotel seems... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and it is Ok nothing special, but the price we payed for our room it was good value for money, great friendly staff at this Hotel. The Buffet breakfast was basic. There is a good pool and the garden area was good , the beach is about a 4 minute walk to where there... More

This was a better hotel some time back. Food was fine. But the room was not so clean and badly need a renovation. A piece of soap, two sachets of shampoo was only provided in the bathroom. Water pressure was very low. No Towels but got two after requesting. Staff was helpful. We ordered our dinner to the room and... More

I stayed here for three nights in February while visiting the Colombo-area of Sri Lanka. Overall it is quite poor value for money. While the hotel interior and surrounding is quite nice with the pool area and all, the breakfast and food in the restaurant is boring and there is no wi-fi in the rooms, only in the restaurant and... I'm having a hard time finding value in this price range ... as a 'flashpacker' gag. What it is ... a decent enough hotel. Nothing too fancy, nice gardens, very nice pool. Paid 65 USD all in, for breakfast (one step up from 'meh'), and a top floor room. Large room, hot water, clean, quite .. 2 balconies! A mini... More

This review is for the in house restaurant. They served really sub standard food. We were a group of seven and ordered five different dishes and all of them was a bit bland. The hotel itself has nice mix traditional architecture and modernity the pool side was a nice plus. I can't further comment on the facilities here.

My recent stay at the Palm Beach hotel with my family was for just a day but the stay was enjoyable. We checked in late afternoon and found the hotel comfortable and service attentive. We had a room on the first floor and another on the floor above. The first floor room proved to be better with a direct access... More

A charming hotel. We had a massive room with a huge bed and space for seating area. Very old but clean. Unfortunately no tea coffee making facility, and the bathroom could have been better but nevertheless I did like this hotel and would stay there again. Staff were very nice, and the food was good.

Palm Beach is an old colonial style hotel, the rooms are spacious, some have problems with the showers, but in general fit for a nice stay. The breakfast is copious and gently served, we have dined twice in our stay and the restaurant serve delicious spiced dishes, I recemend the Sri Lanka cuisine, The swiming pool is, for sure, the...
