We spent 3 nights here for a break between Christmas and new year .. We had room 2 which was very comfy .. Bed was lovely.. With extra covers if required .. Shower over a small bath with loads of hot water and basic toiletries.. Breakfast available from 8 - 10 am .. A great base to explore Dartmoor and... More

I stayed for one night in December as I was travelling for work, the room was large and was clean. The shower wasn't easy to use at all and the water pressure was intermittent. Breakfast was ok, but basically expect a breakfast in a roadside cafe. OK for a one night stay

We were given a cheery welcome and taken to our toasty warm room on the top floor, no 7 with four poster bed and all you need for a comfortable stay, the other rooms also looked good. Breakfast, whatever you want and mostly local produce, was from 7.30am till as late as you like, in the attached cafe with a... More

Wow! As someone who always uses lodges, this stay was brilliant. Lovely well-equipped room, VERY clean, and nothing was too much trouble - how often do you get offered the loan of hi-viz jackets if you are walking to the pub? And then to get a wonderful breakfast too - heaven!

We broke our journey here on the way to Cornwall from London and we so pleased we came here rather than the regular services. We had sandwiches and coffee which were lovely. Plenty of parking and close to the A30. Recommended.

A genuine friendly welcome and then shown to a very clean room. Ideal place to stop if wanting to travel around in Devon as it is ideally situated for M5 etc. It's a bit dated but then so are most B & B's in the area. It is however, considerably cheaper than staying in a good hotel in Exeter. Good... More

We needed a place to stay near Exeter for one night. We found this lovely guest house in a quite location. We arrived and was met by Michelle who mediately made us feel very welcome. I believe we had the last vacancy, it was a small double which was very clean and cosy.

Only had one night there - Friday - but would have been happy for a longer stay. My daughter and I arrived 11.30pm and Michelle (owner)welcomed us. Lovely atmosphere with period pieces. Spotless, newly decorated sympathetically with age of property. Beautiful views from our room at the top. Comfy family room with ensuite shower. Hairdryer, iron, Nescafe coffee, Galaxy hot... More

Stayed for one night as I had had important meeting in Exeter the next day. I was made very welcome by the host (Michelle) who showed me to my room and gave me a guide to the local area, including the best local pubs where I could get an evening meal. The coach house itself is a listed building surrounded... More
