While I enjoyed the proximity to the Civic Center, there were some unsavory characters hanging around the exit door. One actually had the nerve to make an off color remark to me. I left to take care of business, came back- they were still there. I actually waited in my car with the doors locked until they went to the... More

We were here for our son's wedding in early September. The staff here was for the most part uncaring and didn't really seem like they enjoyed working at this facility. Not once did we hear a thank you or "How are you today?" They have tried to do some updating but have a ways to go. A lot of food... More

The check in lady at the front desk was so nice. She checked us in quickly and we were off to our room. We had a poolside room but it was not a themed room like many of them are in this hotel. At first sight the room was decent and sleep able for a couple of nights if I... More

We booked a room here for a short overnight stay. I was quite surprised at the room we booked for under $85. The boys had fun in the pool. It had amenities we didn't have in our $286 a night room at the Seattle Hilton. Obviously they are at opposite ends of the hotel spectrum but I was more pleased... More

Came into town late. Holiday Inn full, Hampton Inn full, but receptionist checked around and found an opening at Gladstone Inn. Suite like room for around $99. Had patio door to indoor deck and pool area. eclectic furnishings were kind of nice for a change. Large room with outdoor scene painted on door, which I'm assuming meant the room was... More

I pulled in without a reservation, so I was happy that I got a room during the weekend. It was more expensive than I had planned and didn't come with any type of breakfast. The wifi was good in my room. The journey to the lobby from my room to the vending machines was a maze of turns. I read... More

We booked a regular room and were given one of their themed suites. It was a pleasant surprise and the room was bit kitchy but in a fun way. The room was clean and although the hotel is older it is well kept. A very pleasant stay.

A very pleasant interesting place to stay! The room was clean but very dimly lit and had a fishing theme. The hotel is very dated at 50 or so years old but unique, the staff was friendly and competent. The restaurant for breakfast was weak and a bit pricy. I slept well but there is railroad noise.

It is worth the extra couple of miles to drive into town and stay at the Gladstone. Not only is it cheaper than all of the chains right off the highway but it is friendlier and more accomodating. We enjoyed the room, comfortable and clean beds, good water pressure in the showers. Plus, when you wake up in the morning,... More

Rooms were clean and decor okay.. Restaurant opened late the evening we showed up - menu was uninspiring so we ordered a very mediocre pizza. We went elsewhere for breakfast. Hallway carpet was very stained on our floor and the sound of the train engines, boxcars, machinery, whatever??= being moved around during the night didn't help overall experience. This location...
