Check in was fine, rooms are average, plenty noisy and smoke smell filled the motel area. Our room had a hole in the wall from someone who had previously stayed there apparently opened the bathroom door to hard. We went to Bill Engvall great show. 25 mins before the show I stood in line for a beverage, they had 3... More

Stayed here last night. Terrible service all around. Check in was 2 rude woman who must hate their jobs. Gambling was terrible!!!!!!! No payback. Went to bar to listen to band. Bartenders were ok. Got drinks in a decent amount of time, but no smiles. Really think everyone here hates their jobs. Woke up this morning to no hot water.... More

Decided to get out of town for a night and went to the casino. Dinner in the cafe next to the buffet is good. The staff is quick and the prices are decent. As a former smoker it is nice that they have a non-smoking room, however beverage service in there is very slow and the space isn't very big.... More

The rooms is clean, the food is alright. However, some of the casino staff is standoff ish and rude. The two nice people were at the hotel check in and the players club. They don't really do a lot for holiday fun and specials.

I was passing through and decided to stop in Dakota Magic casino. The casinos I have seen in the area are, as expected, small unexciting establishments. Dakota however is a bit bigger, nicer and flashier. Like any casino it is smoky inside. I can't take away too much for that as it is the norm. The staff was very friendly.... More

The hotel is average. Nice clean rooms. The restaurants are ok. The people that work here seem rude and didn't want to be there. Very smoky. Check in and out was a pain. They couldn't print me a receipt, they e-mailed me one instead.

The hotel is average at best along with the buffet. The casino isn't too bad early in the day but once it starts filling up it gets so smoky. Small non smoking section but all the fun games are in the smoking section. The restaurant next to the buffet is very good and actually cheaper than going to the buffet.... More

The front desk staff was very friendly. He patiently answered any questions we had about the area. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were very satisfied. We'd been traveling all day and went downstairs for supper. The buffet was open, but it was Mexican Food night and not what we wanted, so we headed for the other restaurant. We... More

Just a short drive south of Fargo, we happened upon this little Casino and Hotel. The rooms are inexpensive during the week. If you get a Players Card, rooms are 20$ or less 7 days a week. The comps are generous ($50 free slot play). I have never lost at this casino. The buffet is marginal at best, but they... More
