stayed with 4 kids under 6 plus their grandmother. Staff allowed us to have McDonalds lunch in the breakfast room for the little ones. Very much appreciated. Not appreciated was the grumpy assistant mgr? who wouldn,t allow the kids the to swim mid afternoon while some minor maintenance which was unscheduled was being done. more

We were not to impressed. Kind of dirty. Good prices. Pool was in a bad area but overall this hotel was fine for a one night stay. We found it hard to find this location. It is near shopping areas. It was near a better quality hotel, we were kind of embarassed walking into there. more

We've stayed twice at this hotel for University of North Dakota functions (freshman orientation, etc). Both times we found the hotel very clean and the staff very pleasant. Rooms are pretty basic, but not cramped either. Pool and whirlpool spa are small, but for our purposes, not a problem. more

Pleasantly surprised. Down for a weekend of shopping and found this hotel very clean. Rooms look like they have fairly new carpet, tub surround ETC. Breakfast area large, clean, well stocked. The room was clean but that was about it. The breakfast area is over crowded and there are no elevators to the second floor. The hot tub is small and pool area is not a comfortable or inviting area. But if all your looking for is a deal and close to the mall then you have all you need. more

I found the Comfort Inn to be an excellent place to stay. The loby, rooms, and pool were very clean. They had a great continental breakfast with waffles, cereal, bagels, toast and juice. My daughter, her friend and my sister just returned from a shopping weekend in Grand Forks. The location of this hotel is excellent as it sits right on the Columbia Mall.
