We stayed at the Canad Inns last year for a friends wedding and were dissappointed in the food and waterpark. When we were given the oppertunity to go back again I was not exactly looking forward to it. Boy was I wrong. First of all, you can now get a great pizza that is not overpriced at Garbonzo's just off... more

I chose the Canad Inn in Grand Forks to propose to my girlfriend of 5 years. I could not have been pleased more with what this property offered. I visited it to pick out the perfect room, which happened to be one of there, many penthouse suites. The suite itself is located on the top floor and is a beautiful... more

Although the rooms were nice and the staff very friendly the cost of the hotel is not worth what you get. We purchased a 3 day pass to the Waterpark which is not included in the hotel cost. They failed to advise us that the water park is closed in the afternoons and when it is open not all areas... more

We were staying in Grand Forks for the weekend to drop our son off at college, needless to stay, it was busy. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a corner penthouse suite (normally runs $300.00 per night, we paid $125.00) for whatever reason (we were'nt about to ask!)... anyway, BEAUTIFUL hotel, three restaurants/bars including one with a gaming area... more

After reserving the "Bed & Breakfast" package, we were quite surprised to discover that this did not mean breakfast was included during our stay. What it actually includes for $103 a night, is a $6 credit for each adult/each day of your stay. This was not explained when the reservation was booked, and we were left feeling like someone pulled... more

I am a native of Grand Forks, but moved to Las Vegas 20 years ago. I now visit with my family every year, and this was the first time staying at the Canad Inn. We highly enjoyed everything from the water park, arcade, tavern and room service. We have stayed at many hotels in Grand Forks, and nothing even comes... more

I loved the comfortable beds (the pillows, however, were standard hotel foam rubber) and the big flat screen TV. My room was very clean, and the room decor was lovely and restful. The hotel is attached to the Alerus Center and, therefore, is perfect if you’re attending a convention there, and it’s just a half-mile from the entrance to the... more

The room was in excellent condition. Staff was extremely nice. The air conditioner fan was very loud and did not seem to have a real "low" setting. Exercise room was in excellent condition, tho heart rate monitors on the treadmills would be nice. Brown paint on walls in room was a bit dark...I'm not sure how the fad of dark-walled... more

We stayed there for two nights. The room we got had a king bed and love seat and was very clean and well appointed. We found several of the front desk staff neither helpful or friendly. We also found the buffett at Aldos to be some of the worst food we have encounted in a larger hotel. We tried ordering... more

After asking about different types of rooms, we booked a children's themed room for three days over Christmas so all of our kids/spouses and grandkids could be in one place without the mess! After staying two nights in the somewhat cramped living space of this room, my husband spotted a room being cleaned down the hall that was much larger... more
