I booked 2 nights in May, and called 3 days prior to deadline to cancel ONE of the nights, because our plans had changed. I was told by the woman who worked evenings that 'she would just do it' -- (cancel the extra night) -
2 days later, I get an email telling me that they have a policy for that weekend of 2 nights minimum -- and that, they never told me that 'all is well'. I now had a choice -- cancel altogether --- or come a day earlier. First I called and spoke with the same employee...who apologized...and told me she 'didn't know about the 2 night minimum' when we spoke... And When I called Mike the manager --- his reply was
"I don't have time to get in to this with you -- I've got two other customers at the desk" --
When I called corporate --- they were nice -- but emasculated in terms of getting results.
Mike did call back --- offering to 'let me cancel one night' --- if I was willing to pay a
penalty of approximately $25.00, so they...
