I waited too long to find an hotel for graduation weekend. Select Inn was the only hotel, that had vacancies for both weekend nights. Room was OK, nothing special. Chairs in room were stained. I hope the hotel manager is reading this, if their staff would just spend 10 minutes a day, go around the outside of their hotel &... More

When I get a room, it is for sleeping, so the quality of the room is not a big deal. The check-in process was quick and we were in our rooms in no time. They are sparsely furnished with amenities, so be sure to bring your own shampoo (there is a little packet provided) and conditioner. The room was clean... More

This is a bare bones hotel with very little to offer. The location was good. Check in was quick, easy and pleasant. The carpet on the steps and hallways had not been vacuumed in quite some time. The room was barely adequately enough for a quick overnight stop The two chairs in the room (one of which was broken) were... More

I stayed here on two occassions, Aug. 18 & Aug 30, 2013. The hotel was next to an industrial park but quite. I found the two non-smoking rooms to be clean and well maintained. There was some noise from a faulty air conditioner fan in the hall the first night that needed tending to. The continental breakfast was marginal. But... More

We get to Grand Forks once a year and only get to stay one night. This is a motel that I wish I could stay longer. Very bright room. Love the light colored furniture. The price was right which is a plus. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a rock. It was quiet which I like. The... More

My Wife and I stayed here for the first time as they had a good price when I booked using there reservation system. The room was clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast was good but not too many choices of what to eat, only muffins, toast and english muffins. they have coffee 24hrs in lobby which I realy like.The... More

I stayed alone at this Select Inn a couple years ago and had an ok experience: a cheap hotel that meets low expectations. However, this trip my wife and I were force into a smoking room that was so uncomfortable that we left after six hours of sleep. The stench wafted out the door when it opened but the desk... More

I am very sorry for the condition of the room that you experienced when you stayed at our hotel. We pride ourselves in having a clean and comfortable property and obviously we failed with your stay. We have 100% guarantee policy at this property and obviously that failed when you tried to communicate with our front desk. Please know that... More

Stayed here with husband and kids for brief overnight on a road trip. This isn't our usual type of accommodations but we thought we'd give it a try as it was really just a place to lay our heads over night. I was pleasantly surprised! The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. All staff i interacted with were pleasant and... More

My family of 4 stayed here for 1 night while on our way to our summer vacation destination, we paid less than $60 total for the night. It was clean and safe and better than what we expected. The continental breakfast is not worth setting your hopes on, so don't bank on that. The area is quiet and just a... More

With coupon from the traveller guide booklets found in some restaurants and truckstops, this hotel became $49/night for 2 people when other "deal" prices at other hotels ranged from $65 for poor quality to $125 for good hotels. So, all was acceptable. But, beds were not very comfy...though did the job.
