I stayed at this hotel for my sisters ndsu graduation. Woke up the next day to head back home to minneapolis. During the car ride home I noticed my arms were itchy. Then the next morning I woke up covered in bed bug bites. I have contacted the hotel about this issue. They have terrible service on top of bed... More

This is a very large motel adjacent to the interstate. We booked a couple of hours before hand without knowing where we'd be staying! The car park is massive, during our one night stay it wasn't very full. Check in seemed to take an eternity and I have no idea why but involved a lot of faffing. The guy working... More

We have stayed at the Vista Inn now three times, because the price is less expensive than many other places. Also, it is located right off the interstate and a major street. Of course, it is out-dated, but as long as it is clean, it is well worth it. I finally had a chance to use the hot tub, and... More

We booked this room for two nights. We left before unpacking. Everything in this motel was extremely dated, worn and dirty. The rusty 1980's ice machine in the hallway (which had a sign on it warning the transient, extended stay "guests" that it was not to be used to fill coolers), the pool and tepid "hot" tub plaster was pitted... I work in the hospitality industry and am able to obtain reduced rates at a property within the top ten hotels in Fargo; however, due to to the fact that my decision to visit some friends there came at the last minute, that rate was no longer available. At that point, my decision regarding lodging was based solely on price.... More

was a guest here sat 7-11-15. when entering the parking lot and noticing the large pot holes, they should have been a warning to us. The check in man seemed indifferent and actually looked a little tackey for being a representative of the hotel. there was a cigarette smell/ perfuemd smell in the hall way. our room did appear to... Con: Not fancy, not well maintained. Room had 3/4 light bulbs out, and ceiling in bathroom talking down, and some pesty flies. Pros: Lots of sugar and carbs for breakfast. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Full pressured showers. Very confortable beds, fridge, TV, and walking distance to fast food and a K-Mart. I would go back without hesitation, good... More

I can deal with the fact this was an older hotel well past its prime. What has given this place 2 stars is the deceptive advertising this place uses which shows a hotel in much better condition than it really is. The first clue I was deceived is apparent when you arrive. There are potholes all over the parking lot!... More

Enjoyed their rooms. ...Pet friendly is always nice.... A little pricy for what they have to offer ...but they also try to help you enjoy your experience. Would recommend staying one or two nights but not a long vacation....

They are cheap and do make the beds and change the towels. That is about the best thing I can say. The building is coming apart on the outside as well as the inside. There is mold and or mildew in the room we were assigned. I am guessing our room is not an isolated incident. The beds need replaced.
