I can echo what some other reviewers have said about the hotel needing refurbishing. the halls did smell like sickly sweet carpet freshener, and I could hear the man next door to me on the phone like he was in the room with me. Also could hear people in the hall so easily. I was in the tower and the... More

While this hotel may have been a star in it's day, that day was probably about 20+ years ago. Hallways smelled of air freshner, rooms were old, carpet was old, bathrooms were old (layers and layers of caulking). It looks like a mini-update was tried, but the rooms (first floor tower) were on par with a Super 8. Certainly not... More

We probably only paid $30 more per night than for a bad hotel, and couldn't have been more pleased. The pool area was clean and comfortable- just the right temperature. They didn't allow outside passes on the weekends, meaning that they were busy, but not horribly overcrowded. Rooms were spacious and gorgeous. The walk from out room to anywhere was... More

Typically one of my favourite hotel chains due to their consistancy however this dated establishment could use some work. Great staff in the hotel and lounge. I don't spend a lot of time in the pool area however it might be suitable for families. Kid friendly but could use some reno's and repairs especially in the hot tub area. I've... More

Pros: New beds New TV Very very clean rooms! Great Water Park for the Children (Almost 1 year later and our kids are still talking about it. My son was only 2 1/2 and he still remembers it!) Cons: No free breakfast Very far walk to our room (next time we will get a poolside room) Local calls on the... More

If you are going to stay here, ask for the tower rooms - top floor. They are spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is somewhat dated, however, it has a nice pool, splashpad, and game area. In addition, you can gamble in the bar (no kidding!) Gambling is allowed in bars in Fargo. This place offeres Blackjack, Pulltabls and... More

It was a Ok place to stay. When checking in, the room came to $129.00 plus tax, which was kinda pricey.Upon entering the room, it was humid and it was very loud.It was clean, but it wasnt the best. I had went to the front desk to switch rooms, she was very unprofessional, but got us switched. We got a... More

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Fargo April 5-7th. We booked & pre-paid for a King room with a sofa bed. We thought we would this hotel out as we have a 3 year old & thought the shipwreck play area in the pool would be fun. Also it was very convenient being directly across the street from West Acres... I stayed at the Fargo, ND Holiday Inn.. the weekend of Mar 30th to Apr 1st. The one thing I always do upon entering a hotel room is place my suitcase on a luggage rack. Next, I check the beds for signs of bedbugs, so far so good no signs of the bb's. Next, into the bathroom to check for... More

Average room that is incredibly overpriced unless booked through a third party. For $119.00, I received a nice room, clean, friendly people. Avoid the second floor poolside room if you're looking for a long nights rest, as the rooms are loud late into the night and again early in the morning. All in all, a decent stay at a decent...
