Just finished a great stay at the Davis Motel. The lady when I checked in was super friendly. Room was nice, nothing fancy but just right. Everything was very clean, I could be wrong but it smelled like they had just cleaned the carpets!! Price was perfect as we were just passing through on a cross country road trip. Had... More

Our group of four fisherman needed a place to stay for one night prior to a three day weekend of guided fishing on Devils Lake. The Davis Motel is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a clean hotel that's easy on your wallet. The hotel is located on the far western edge of Devils Lake, so if... More

I was only in town for one night. Needed a place to put my head down. Iron clothes and get a shower. It was 49 dollars and I couldn't beat that price in town. It's not the best and up to date place but they had every single thing I needed and the front desk lady said if I need... More

Clean, and low priced. The bathroom is like stepping back into 1960, but it was very clean. Nice soft towels. Clean/new carpet, clean/freshly painted walls. Comfortable bed. Weber grills sitting around outside for guest use. Small Frig and microwave in all the rooms. Friendly people running the place, and room to park your boat.

This is the very first time we've been disappointed after booking a place reasonably well rated by other TA reviewers. We weren't expecting glamour, but this place is a throwback to 1965, and not in a "hip" retro kindo of way. Yes, it's clean-ish, except for the ancient Oreo our dog ferreted out from under one of the beds. Dowdy... More

We were in Devil's Lake for the car show and some friends of ours were staying at the Davis Motel. We stopped by their room for drinks. The rooms are clean, but nothing fancy. If your not planning on spending a lot of time in your room, then this is well worth the price! i know we will be staying... More

We were looking for a cabin for a long weekend and decided to go to Devil's Lake. We wanted a room with a kitchenette and we were a bit skeptical about our reservation. We were pleasantly surprised and found the Davis Motel to be excellent. The room was very clean, it looked like it had fresh paint and new carpet.... More

I am a 20 something woman and I was traveling alone. I couldn't get a room anywhere else so I got a room here. The rate was 40 a night which scared me, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay. It is nothing fancy at all. I mean at all. Not even any shampoo or conditioner in the... More
