Not a bad place...convenient to stores, restaurants. Generally quite clean and the staff was very friendly. They are undergoing some renovations and perhaps that explained it, but the hot tub was luke warm at best....we mentioned this to the manager in passing day 1 - nothing done about it even by day 4. more

On my way to a family reunion I stayed at this facility and found that it by far with it's newly remodeled building to be the best motel in over 2,100 miles that I'd traveled. We redeemed Marriott Rewards for this stay. Our one big complaint is there is no airport shuttle to this property or to the Fairfield North. The other hotels nearby do offer an airport shuttle. Overall, a great stay! Was on a roadtrip across the country and booked this the same day. Called ahead to ensure we could get a nonsmoking room, and were informed that all rooms were nonsmoking. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by two front desk clerks who had us checked in quickly and who explained the features of the hotel.... more

Stayed here, for one night, while en route from New Jersey to my home in Wyoming. Basically, if one arrives in time to cancel, without a penalty (or, if you don't mind foregoing one night's rent) you might want to look elsewhere for lodging if you can determine a large group is staying here. We stayed here on our way home from Montana back to Ohio. Bismarck is a really nice city and the Fairfield Inn was a nice place to stay. We had a good rate and a nice clean hotel. more

We took a family reunion group of 18 to Fairfield South, and I was a bit hesitant because of the previously posted reviews. We found the whole building very clean, the rooms well-prepared, the bathrooms excellent, the swimming pool and jacuzzi well-maintained, the breakfast nicely set out, and the desk service VERY good.
