We wanted to stay outside Theodore Roosevelt N.P. and after reading Trip Advisor reviews we decided on the Cowboy Inn. It was rustic, quaint and clean. I liked the fact that it was far enough off the main highway to not have a lot of traffic and noise. There was a train somewhere in the vicinity as I could hear... More

Great rustic hotel. Very clean rooms with a cute western decor. There is a hallway outside your room to keep the cold out. All the basics (i.e. microwave, fridge, coffee pot). There was a bath tub which was great for my bf because he likes to soak. Wifi was free and fast enough to stream videos. We liked it and... More

We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. We had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, free wifi, and room to move around. It was clean and there were fluffy towels in the bathroom. My husband appreciated their nightlight in the bathroom as well as a rubber bathmat in the tub. The parking lot was made... More

When we pulled into this motel, we weren't sure if we would like it; but it truly is a hidden gem. It isn't fancy, but it is well cared for, clean, neat, and comfortable. Also, it was very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A clean room is what is important to us. Everything in Medora was full, so found this little motel. I would stay there again. I wouldn't spend days there, but for a good nights sleep, it worked out great.

Was a good place to spend the night. Price was okay- with taxes we paid $75.21. Had a little fridge and a microwave. Older but clean. Two queen beds. No continental breakfast though but the other hotel in town was more expensive and you only got a coupon for something like $3 off breakfast at the restaurant next door. To... More

I walked in and felt just like I was at home, super clean and quiet. Staff is pretty friendly too. I wasn't expecting much, just a place to stay, and it exceeded my expectation. Complaints: they don't have any breakfast, but I think they have built that into the price. I would definitely recommend this place!

This property is pretty old but has been maintained quite well. Our room was fine, albeit far from modern, but it worked for us. And the grill near the rooms was a bonus, we cooked a nice meal and didn't need a restaurant Considering the price, and it's up there I feel, and no breakfast included, the value for money... More

My wife and I stayed at the Cowboy inn for 2 nights while visiting Medora. The motel is clean and has a mini fridge and microwave in the room the the price per night is less than half the per night price of motels in Medora, we will stay here again next time we visit the Medora area.

Cowboy Inn was a nice place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly. Its closeness to Medora was great! It was quiet. There was a grill for our use. The only negative is that the rooms were a little dark and not window could be opened to the outside.
