We enjoyed our stay at the Cowboy Inn over the 4th of July holiday and would certainly stay there again. Our room was large, clean, quiet, comfortable, with many amenities including internet access. more
It was nice to stay at such a homey place. It was well stocked -even with an extra air mattress. The beds were comfortable, the TV was big, the internet was fast and the flowers were beautiful. It was nice to be close to Medora and not have to stay with all the tourists. more
Had planned to stay in Dickenson, North Dakota, but a fireman's conference filled the city. We were there to go to Theodore Roosevelt Natl Park and found the Cowboy Inn which is closer to the park anyway. There isn't much in Belfield whereas Dickenson is a pretty big city. This is a family run motel with a very courteous staff. Don't let the outside looks of the property fool you. The rooms were very sufficient and reminiscent of the 50's style motel you would come across on Route 66. Rooms were clean and decorated with a cowboy or western motif.
