My husband and I stayed very recently at the Harbor Inn and we were immediately impressed with the view and the overall decor of the room. The room was extremely chic and modern looking w/ a GREAT view over the harbor and bridge. However, into the second day of our stay we came to realize how incredibly odd the location... More

My girlfriends and I stayed at Harbor Inn during Memorial Day weekend. The room we got was amazing with a view over the river and bridge. It's not waterfront property but we did not find that this was a problem, in fact it worked out better--the beach is a 5 min walk and it was easier to drive to Wilmington... More

We'd stayed at a rinky dink hotel in Carolina Beach on Friday night but Saturday we found this place. I realize places have normal problems and everything can't be perfect all the time but we absolutely loved this place. We had our 4 year old Autistic Grandson with us so it was perfect that the balcony was seperated from the... More

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon. At first glance, these rooms looked great! Very spacious with a nice little kitchen area and everything looked clean and new. It went pretty much down hill from there. When we went to leave our room, we found that our door did not latch. There is no one available in the... More

I agree with what a lot other people said. The rooms are modern and refurbished, with black and white photographic art -- no ancient fish plaques or tacky carpet. Very clean on the surface. I really liked the size of the kitchenette, the general spaciousness, and the built-in bunkbeds worked well for a family of 4. The main bed was... More

My family and I have stayed at the Harbor Inn several times because of its nice rooms and excellent location in Wrightsville Beach. the last time we stayed, however, I was extremely disappointed. We booked two rooms, one for my husband and me and one for our college sophomore and high-school junior. our kids' room was awful. There were clothes... More

If you have to be in Wilmington for business and need a hotel room, the Harbor Inn is THE place to stay. The rooms accommodate quite a few people and are nicely designed with a kitchenette incorporated. It's the last stop before you cross the Intracoastal into Wrightsville.

Found this online while my girlfriend and I was traveling to Wilmington nc. Small size office nothing fancy but all the staff answered all our questions about places to eat, the room, etc. The room was a surprise. With a small kitchen two bunk beds queen size bed and a sleeper sofa two theater size chairs to watch the flat... More

Our stay was overshadowed by a dispute with them. My wife made a reservation, but never received a confirmation. She called back weeks later and they had no record of our reservation. So, she made another. Again--- no confirmation. Luckily, when we showed up, they did have us in their system. On the day of our return, they called us... More

The Harbor Inn was perfect for a group of 6 female friends spending a week at the beach! It is located in a perfect location. We were 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and to the restaurants and bars of Wrightsville Beach. The size of the room was not too small for the 6 of us. There was a... More
