We had a wonderful experience at Graylyn this past weekend. We were in Winston-Salem for the N. Carolina School of the Arts 50th Gala and were fortunate enough to secure a room at Graylyn. Entering the estate is an experience all in itself - driving down their lush, green driveway and rolling up to the beautiful stone manor house to... More

We had a great stay at Graylyn Estate. It was a beautiful time to be outside and walk around and take in this glorious place. All our needs were taken care of at every turn. My husband especially loved the butterscotch cookies. They are not to be missed! Had a great time. Lots to see and do in Winston-Salem.

Wonderful experience at Graylyn Estate. Terrific service, friendly staff, beautiful grounds and lovely room. Bicycles available. We stayed in the Mews which is a one minute drive on the estate. Very convenient as the hotel will pick you up in the golf cart. They even have breakfast at the Mews so no need to go back to the main house... More

We had heard of this place but words don't make it justice. It's absolutely gorgeous, impecable, unique, elegant, unforgettable! The staff is beyond wonderful! From the moment you pull up the front door they welcome you with wide smiles and a classy approach. Very helpful! So willing to accommodate our gluten free needs at meal times. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! Can't... More

I had never heard of Graylyn and it is a discreet looking property despite being on a large parcel of land. The main building is quite grand and this is where you check in. There is also a dining facility here where breakfast is served. Graylyn is most adapted to hosting groups or visitors to Wake Forest, so it does... More

From the delightful butler service to elegant rooms replete with "pillow menus" to ensure perfect slumber to five star, five course meals; Graylyn Estate is a delicious slice of luxury travel. Filled with architectural details that will leave you breathless and a museum-worthy collection of art and artifacts this jewel box of a hotel is not to be missed.

We had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Manor House in an antique room. We had a warm welcome from Barbara who showed us our room. Lovely Molton Brown products in the bathroom. We borrowed 2 bikes and had a tour of the grounds and Reynolda house and village. Would love to come back when all the flowers and... More

i traveled in a winter storm and read that the hotel accepts pets. I have a small 10 lb. Maltese dog. when I arrived they told me we can only stay in the bungalow. we went to see the "bungalow" to my surprise, it was terrible. 6pm still dirty, room was not made. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay... More

We celebrated our honeymoon at the Gralyn (Manor House). Our room was exactly as it was pictured on the website. Beautiful and elegant. The hotel employees addressed us by name and were extremely professional and respectful. No other hotel has compared to their service. I highly recommend this trip for a couples getaway.

The Graylyn property and staff deserve very high marks for quality of facilities, food and service. However the Murder Mystery itself was lame and very unprofessional given that specialty murder mystery company was hired for this purpose. I am pretty sure the Demon Deacon drama club could have done better. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the weekend because of the estate and... More
