We celebrated our honeymoon at the Gralyn (Manor House). Our room was exactly as it was pictured on the website. Beautiful and elegant. The hotel employees addressed us by name and were extremely professional and respectful. No other hotel has compared to their service. I highly recommend this trip for a couples getaway.

The Graylyn property and staff deserve very high marks for quality of facilities, food and service. However the Murder Mystery itself was lame and very unprofessional given that specialty murder mystery company was hired for this purpose. I am pretty sure the Demon Deacon drama club could have done better. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the weekend because of the estate and... More

When considering a hotel, I find I tend to first focus on location. I think Graylyn is such an outstanding property, I would recommend it regardless of why, what and where one was visiting Winston- Salem. For anything to do with Wake Forest Uni it is ideal. We stayed in Mr. Gray's room and found it spacious and very well... More

Overall it was a nice stay but there were a few things that could be improved. When making a reservation I had questions about the different room options and felt like the lady taking the reservations didn’t want to take the time to explain the different options to me before booking. My only request was that we prefer a king... More

This place is amazing. The manor is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Our room was a little on the small side but it was very pretty and cozy. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the entire weekend. I would stay there again without hesitation. And you can't forget about the free... More

While it is evident that this resort is first and foremost a conference center they do a lovely job of creating a home for their paying resort guests. We stayed in the Gardeners cottage and it was lovey... room was spacious and well appointed and we were an easy and lovely walk away from the main manor. We enjoyed a... More

My husband surprised me for our anniversary to a trip to the Graylyn House. Upon arrival, we were so ecstatic about seeing how beautiful the house is. It looks just like a mini castle and the grounds are beautiful. We were greeted immediately by the most polite woman. She showed us in to the house, helped check us in, and... More

We stayed at the Graylyn for two nights in July. My daughter, Sarah, left her purse in the room, and $100 was stolen from the purse, while we were out of the room for a short period of time. I met with the manager twice, and spoke with the security person three times. I was assured that an investigation would... More

We booked this hotel for my wife's 60th birthday and were not disappointed. We were greeted at the front entrance and were in our room in less than 5 minutes. The staff was very friendly and the valet parking meant the rainy day was no big deal. The desk clerk told us we had her favorite room (Room 213 in... More
