We were traveling through Winston Salem and only needed to stay in town one night. I chose the Wingate Inn because of the price and proximity to 52 for heading back north. We had a King room on the 5th floor. The room was extremely clean. Linens appeared new. Bathroom was very clean and everything appeared to be fairly new.... more

We stayed at the Wingate Inn in Winston Salem on our way to Myrtle Beach, SC. It was a very good stay!! The rooms are all newly renovated with a king or two double beds and a pull out couch. My business associate and myself recently had the unfortunate experience of having stayed at the Wingate hotel located at 125 S. Main St., Winston-Salem, NC 27101. The Wingate Inn at Winston-Salem, NC featured exceptionally clean, professional rooms that would comfortably accommodate the business traveler. The free high-speed Internet connection was a nice bonus as I was able to use my laptop to check email after traveling for 8 hours. A free continental breakfast with newspaper was also included. I was completely satisfied with my overnight stay. more
