We stayed here while visiting Wake Forest. The facility is older and could use some rehab but the staff was very nice and the location was very convenient for our purposes. It is located on a very busy 4-lane road but there are sidewalks and you don't hear road noise. There is a gas station/convenience store on one side and... More

We didn't have much of a choice about staying here, as we booked during graduation weekend and the hotels were filling up. This was about the best deal we could get. When we came in to check in, our room wasn't ready for us because we were a bit early. Understandable. But the staff was rude about helping me out... More

We stayed at the Winston Salem Hotel and Spa during graduation weekend. We booked it based on its proximity to campus and due to the fact that most hotels were booked - it is too far to walk to the main university area while dressed up, but it is a two minute drive. The area was not too good, but... More

Staff at the hotel were very helpful and courteous, but the accommodations need a lot of help; had I not prepaid on Hotwire, I would have walked out. I found the place to lack the cleanliness one would expect. Baseboards were dirty with grime, chipped paint on walls, shower head didn't work, air conditioner didn't work, wifi didn't work, bathroom... More

The hotel is tired and worn. The rugs need to be replaced. Overall, it was not a bad experience, but this hotel needs to be updated. Staff were friendly and the location was good. We had a 2nd floor room facing the front enterance, and heard car door slamming all night. Although the bed and pillows were comfortable, we did... More

This place is terrible. I can't believe they call themselves a spa. That is an absolute joke! Yes, the hotel and rooms are old and this isn't a 5 star hotel, but the night time receptionist and late night check in guests in the lobby made me seriously reconsider where I was spending the night. The walls were paper thin... More

The location of this hotel is close to my job and helped assure arrival to work during inclement weather. I was very happy to hear jazz music playing in the lobby and the restaurant. The staff and management at this hotel were wonderful. They were all very warm and friendly, professional, and accommodating. I was very pleased with the size... More

If the hear isn't on all the time, the rooms are freezing. The hotel is clearly being economical with its heat usage and there is no central heat in operation. Noisy units again (what is it with hotels in WS?) and when the noisy heating unit gave up the ghost, I had to press to be moved (I was told... More

The hotel was clean and quiet. Staff very nice. The decor is a little dated, but the king room was a great size and included fridge, microwave and a sitting area with a couch and chair. There is a spa and a bistro restaurant on site (neither of which we used). The breakfast was good, not mind blowing but more... More

This property is located right across the street from Wake Forest. The rooms look to be newly renovated and are oversized. There is a lobby lounge on property and that was a plus. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I also utilized the spa on property for a pedicure and massage that was wonderful. I highly recommend this Wyndham... More
