I had a two night stay at this Holiday Inn Express and while it met my needs, I was surprised at the variability I experienced. The woman who checked me in was lovely, may a big deal about the fact that I am a platinum level traveler with the brand family, told me I got an upgraded room, and gave me a bottle of wine. She even said that she'd gone into the room about an hour before to turn on the A/C. I have never been so warmly welcomed at an Holiday Inn Express!

The room was large, and the upgrade part meant it has a wet bar with a refrigerator and a microwave, a couch and coffee table, and all the extra space that having that furniture meant. The linen were clean and the bed was comfortable, but there was a bit of a dinginess to everything in the room except the bed, and it just did not smell clean.
