My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary in March of 2015. Scott was one of the most hospitable people I've ever met. He took us in, showed us several places to eat and things to do around Wilmington. We didn't go to Wilmington with a travel itinerary, so the tips were nice! He made the recommendation to go... my granddaughter's 3rd grade class was going to the Ft Fisher Aquarium for a day trip. I decided a nice get away for the two of us would be a overnight stay in a BB. She was blown away with this house ( as was I). Beautiful, filled with pristine antiques and a host that treated us both like royalty.... More

My mother and I went to Wilmington for a weekend get away to celebrate her birthday. Scott was very helpful with the planning of our activities. We had great meals and fun shopping trips discovering many antique stores. The inn was lovely, clean, and conveniently located to all of our destinations. We had a great night of sleep and the... Over the super bowl weekend my husband and I stayed a few days at the Taylor House Inn. Scott, the owner, met us at the front door and from then on we began our wonderful weekend in Wilmington. The house is filled with gorgeous antiques and in every room there is not only beauty, but abounding comfort and warmth. Scott... More

We stayed at the Taylor House Inn over the New Years holiday. The inn is a lovely old house with very helpful and enthusiastic owners. The breakfasts were prompt, freshly made, and very filling. However, one half of our couple did find the breakfast to be a little too sweet, so be aware if you have a low sugar tolerance.... More

We stayed at the Taylor House Inn in early December. Having not been in the area before, we made our choice of where to stay based on other very positive reviews of this B&B, and it worked out great for us. The Taylor House Inn is within very convenient walking distance of the Wilmington waterfront area, which is a great... More

We visited this excellent Wilmington B&B after many years, and were not disappointed. Our genial host was an excellent guide to local activities, and the breakfast was super – even gluten-free. We highly recommend this for anybody who would love a relaxing and elegant escape to attractions of the historic city of Wilmington as well as the beach.

The inn is charming and elegant filled with beautiful rooms; each with their own unique touches. It is centrally located in historic Wilmington & well within walking distance to the downtown waterfront district. Scott is an affable host with great suggestions on what to do & where to eat. He suggested the Caprice Bistro when he discovered our love of... More

I actually found this place when looking for hotel accomadations close to the club we were going to. What a pleasant experience! Scott greeted us, sat us down and went over in detail the area, attractions and places to eat. I have been to a few B & B's and was never shown the hospitality that Scott showed us. Our... More

We were in town a few weeks ago for a family wedding and I didn't want to stay at a hotel. I found the Taylor House Inn online and I am so happy I picked this location! Scott was an amazing host providing us with maps and dining options while we made our 1st visit to the Wilmington area. We... More
