Even though we already had a paid reservation, we pulled into the parking lot and both said "There's no way I'm staying here." It was very rundown looking and shady looking characters were hanging out in the parking lot.

I am surprised that the health department in Wilmington allows this hotel to remain in business. It was one of the most repulsive places I've been to (see attached pics). Room is clean, enough cable channels, everything works. Room comes with microwave, small fridge, safe. Fine dining (Taco Bell, Wendys, BoJangles) all a short walk. Only downside was it was cold and it took like 2 hours to heat the room up.

On business for a couple of days in Wilmington/staff was personable/helpful and room was pleasantly decorated/spotless...room rate was comparatively superior to other motel offerings in area-Safe for women traveling alone--highly recommend
