We recently took our two dogs here with us for a week. We rented one of the deluxe cabins with a partial kitchen and full bath. The property was very clean and well-kept as well as the cabin. Had all the comforts of home plus a large deck, fire ring, grill, and private yard area. There are two great dog... More

We stopped by here on our way up to the outer banks and were pleased with the camp. There was a nice dog park, which is important to us and clean bathrooms which we all like! The staff was helpful and courteous. Our main negative feedback was all the mosquitos. They should look at options to reduce their numbers. Deep... More

A bit pricey but worth it with very helpful and friendly staff. A worker staying next me grows veggies for campers to take. Would definitely return. Only negative is dusty roads but they attempt to control that by spraying. Changed my opinion of koa's to very positive.

We had a great time at this KOA, there are so many extra's compared to the last KOA we stayed at in Mount Pleasant/Charleston SC. We are on a one year trip across America on our motorcycle (Goldwing). We rent the kamping kabins as they work out great for us. Our kabin had a refrigerator and tv. Both worked very... More

We have stayed at this KOA many times over the last three years. It was a favourite campground being ideally situated in the beautiful city of Wilmington and not that far away from the wonderful Wrightsville Beach. Unfortunately there is little other choice for camping in the area which is a pity because in effect this campground has a monopoly.... More

-A "cut-above" the usual KOA's with lots of amenities for kids. Sparkling pool had just opened for the season. We were travelling in a Class B and did not require full hook-up and were given a wide site under the tall pine trees which was so much better than being sandwiched between those intimidating large, luxury Class A's !! Friendly... More

We stayed while in Wilmington for Thanksgiving. Kid friendly, had a nice playground for the children, facilities were clean, laundry facilities were nice too. Additionally, staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Most KOA's are pretty standard and this one was not much different. However, there were a few things to keep in mind before booking here. If you want reliable wifi, forget it. Also the counter staff is pretty indifferent. We were there only one night and when we got back to the campground after hours we realized we could not... More

My family decided last minute to go to the beach for the weekend since the weather was going to be nice and we had a free weekend. We searched all the area hotels for a dog friendly room and most all the hotels were booked. We stumbled across the KOA site after doing a "dog friendly places to stay in... More

Upon arrival, the front office staff was extremely unfriendly and not very knowledgeable. We reserved our site, and when we went to the site we didn't like the location. We rode around to look at another site and were flagged down and told we were in the wrong place. We knew this, we were just investigating other options. We picked... More
