Stayed here with my family and for work. Your not on the beach but beaches aren't far and there plenty of restaurants close by. Great place to just have an adult beverage and chill by the pool. You can buy your own or this is one of the few(only one I've seen) that has a full service bar. Staff here... More

First the good: location is very convenient to Wrightsville Beach. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool area was very nice. Breakfast was your standard RI breakfast. Now the not-as-good (not bad, but needs improvement): the property is definitely showing its age. While the room was in decent condition, the entire property needs a refurbishment. There's a new Springhill... More

This hotel is average at best. The décor is old and the beds are hard. Maybe its just me but the food served is getting worse and worse at the Marriott's in general. I would have to stay somewhere else in the future

I don't even know how to explain my disappointment with the Residence Inn in Wilmington, across from Mayfaire. This is in a high-end part of town and it showcases like a mobile home in the sticks. I was extremely disappointed in the rooms. It looks like it was built out in the 1970's and it was not pristine as I... More

We stayed here for a weekend in order to attend a family wedding. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to highways, downtown Wilmington, UNC Wilmington and local beaches. We had our dog with us, so spent a lot of time walking the grounds, which are fairly extensive for an in-town hotel - beautifully landscaped and well kept. Our... More

Upon travelling to Wilmington for the Memorial Day services at the National Cemetery, I was surprised when the hotel refused to give me the U.S. government rate because I was a retired veteran and not presently on active duty. Instead the fee we were charged for our room more than TRIPLED. As a retired veteran with 28 years of service... More

This was my first stay at a Residence Inn, and I loved it. It was an apartment with a full kitchen and a sitting room. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hot breakfasts were very tasty. Monday--Wednesday nights there was a complimentary supper (beer and wine, too!) that was very good. So, really,we saved a lot of money... More

Considering that this is a Residence Inn, I expected better. The bathroom in the "Studio" that was stayed in belonged to something I'd see in a 3 star motel. The inner lining of the shower curtain was black on the bottom, the tub was lined, and the tiles in the bathroom were cracked the length of the floor. There was a... More

The suite was very clean and comfortable. The landscaping was well kept as was the general exterior of the property. I thought the rate was great but was a little sad the dog fee was so high. The hotel had nice amenities as well. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Wilmington area.

This is a clean and well-maintained Residence Inn with an excellent location. Wrightsville Beach is less than a 10 minute drive and there are tons of places to eat and shop right around the hotel. The main crossroad (Eastwood @ Military Cutoff) makes it easy to go any direction if you want to explore Wilmington. Staff were friendly, room was... More
