My husband and I stayed at Big Mill Bed & Breakfast for our first anniversary vacation and we're trying to figure out how we can get back for a weekend before another year goes by. Chloe was a great hostess and the two rooms we stayed in -- the Mardi Gras Suite and the Packhouse Suite -- were fantastic. We... more

We stayed in the Corn Crib room. It was just beautiful & cozy! Relaxing too!! The innkeeper was a wonderful hostess. Loved the breakfast, homemade yogurt, granola, jams, quiche. Loved the entryway into our room. Roasted hot dogs over the fireplace in the entryway. We will definitely be back for our 10 year anniversary next year. We have stayed at... more

My husband and I stayed in Big Mill's Mardi Gras Suite for one night of a two-week exploration of the Carolinas. I made all of the travel arrangements and picked Big Mill because we needed a place to stop on our way to Ocracoke. We wish now that we had skipped Ocracoke altogether and spent the extra time at Big... more

Actually, a class in relaxation and stress reduction is not necessary because it comes so easy at Big Mill as soon as you step out of your car. I stayed for 7 days at this enchanting, charming B&B, located on a farm in eastern North Carolina. The Grading Room Suite was comfortable upscale accomodations yet casual with its hardwood floors,... more

I spent my Spring Break at Big Mill. It was the perfect placed for Spring retreat to recharge my battery. I stayed for three nights and had a wonderful stay. I really enjoyed the comfy and coziness of the Caribbean Room. I also enjoyed the quietness of its location. The grounds were lovely, even in early Spring. The food was... more

We stayed at the Big Mill for two nights, residing at the Packhouse Suite. Our experience was below our expectations, and we have frequented enough B&Bs to know quality. The room was rather dirty - the rug had obvious dirty and old leaves on it, and the kitchen silverware was also improperly cleaned (the teapot, for instance, had some sort... more

The Big Mill Bed and Breakfast provided delightful accomodations! My husband and I LOVED the Packhouse Suite. The marble countertops and Greek tiles were gorgeous. My husband and I enojyed the ability to cook for each other in the kitchenette. It was a wonderful weekend. The perfect way to celebrate his homecoming from Iraq. PS They offer a military discount. more

My family lives in the sleepy town of Tarboro about 20 minutes away from this great little B&B where my husband and I decided to make home while we visited for a family function. At first I had my reservations about staying so far from everyone else but once we checked in, my worries melted away. We chose the most... more

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Big Mill. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful - you are really out in the country - but very easy to get to from the highway. We visited Historic towns Bath and Washington easily. The food was fresh and tasty, though not the hot breakfast we are used to at other B&B's.... more
