We made a reservation to park our camper on river. Hah, right on the river and the main road with a railroad track. Geez that sounds like it would be relaxing. We pulled in and right back out. There's no pool and the weather is getting pretty warm. There are plenty of campgrounds where the owner won't stick you on... More

We spent a month at Tuckaseegee RV Resort in a motorhome with slide-outs. The location is convenient to local attractions and the campground is easily accessible from US 441. All sites are generously sized and most sites can accommodate the longest and widest RVs. Rates are reasonable. Overall, we like this campground very much and would definitely stay there again.... More

My husband, our border collie and I spent an incredible 3 days at this lovely pet friendly lodge. We couldn't ask for a friendly place to take our dog. The family treated us as one of their own. This lodge also invites their guests to homemade food along with many other treats for the weary traveler. Their food was nothing... More
