We liked the facilities, but felt like a burden rather than a welcome customer right off the bat. Later, the manager was rude to my elderly parents and to us over a minor rules infraction ( I collect a large stick from the woods)

We tent camped at Flaming Arrow this summer in one of the covered sites. While the campground has an exceptionally clean bathhouse, I can't give it anything higher than three stars because of the negatives, particularly campsites on top of each other and red clay dirt under the tent. Our tent filled with dirt even though we had ground cloths... More

Pros: Clean, shaded tent sites, friendly and helpful staff, covered picnic tables, nice grounds Cons: older washrooms, tent sites not grassy We choose this campground based on the reviews and its location. We were traveling along the Blue Ridge Parkway and needed a place to stay the night after completing the drive. We were heading to Franklin the next day... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here during our trip to North Carolina. It was very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway which was where we were travelling so it was a perfect location. When we got there to check in the owner was very pleasant and quick checking us in. We were from farther away so she was very welcoming.... More

Good location, power, and wifi. Park is extremely clean and neat. Pool is sparkling along with a little older bathrooms. Quite and very enjoyable stay. Early entrance requires a $10 fee. Site 7 has a terrific view of the mountains. Owen assisted in parking camper and making sure everything at site with perfect.

We had reservations at this campground for a few weeks in advance. Normally we stayed in one just north of Cherokee but they were all closed up during that time. We were a little skeptical because we have had a couple of bad experiences with P.A. campgrounds, but since this was new on the list we decided to try it.... More

This park is new to Passport and we found it on line . . . a lovely park with all sorts of amenities . . . 50 amp, cable, wifi, swimming pool (didn't use it as it was 27 the last night we were there) and is very close to everything . . . 3 min for major shopping center,... More

Didn't stay at the campground and never will. A group of 3 families booked a weekend there and our friend who has a 37 ft camper was concerned about getting his camper in to his assigned site, so we decided to look in to another campground and made reservations there. We called 5 days ahead of time to let the... More

Great place to camp for the first time in forever. The campsites were peaceful and facilities were clean. Joanie was a wealth of knowledge on where to go and what to do. I questioned her at first about Mingo Falls as we made the hike but it was well with it!!! Will definitely be back!

We arrived home Monday from our 4 day visit. It was our first time visiting here and we were amazed at how clean the facilities were. To make it even better, the owner, Joanie( I pray I spelled it right) is absolutely AWESOME to rent from. She really helped in showing us what local attractions were nearby. The map she... More
