We stayed one night on our Christmas tree cutting trip. West Jefferson is a nice little mountain town and is surrounded by "choose & cut" tree farms. The inn is only 4 miles from town. The rooms here are good size and comfortable, and fully decked out with Debra's down home decorations. Debra and her husband are so outgoing and... More

We got a chance 1 night stay away from home with no kids. We always have loved staying in B&B's, but hadn't in quite some time. We found Meadowsweet Gardens online and after speaking to Debbie on the phone, I thought that this would be the perfect spot to spend the night. It was much more than a bed and... More

We ended up at the Meadowsweet Gardens B&B because we made our plans late and all the places in Blowing Rock were full or way over priced. Sure glad we did! It's a nice B&B and the hosts are great friendly down to earth people. The grounds around the inn a beautiful and I plan to come back in the... More

This lovely old farmhouse is perfectly located in Ashe County NC. You can travel to West Jefferson and Todd in minutes. Even Boone & Blowing Rock are a short drive. This is truly a place to relax. Beautiful gardens surround this inn and the proprietors are very friendly and helpful. We enjoy every visit there.

We have stayed at Meadowsweet Inn on several occasions in different seasons of the year. Consistently we have been very pleased with our experiences. The environment is charming, the food is excellent. We now consider the proprietors our friends! We look forward to our visit in January 2014.

My wife and I recently met up with some family members in North Carolina and choose to stay at Meadowsweet Gardens instead of just staying in a regular hotel room. This place is exactly what a good B&B should be! The moment you drive up you are greeted by a beautifully manicured landscape with lush flower gardens, a pond and... More

Our stay here was truely wonderful! We called on a Thursday evening spur-of-the-moment and showed up kind of late. Despite that, the owners greated us warmly, took a little while to talk with us, and seemed genuine and very sincere! My favorite thing (if I had to pick just one) had to be the delightful upstairs porch! We also enjoyed... More

After a very negative experience with a different lodge, we were so happy to find the Meadowsweet Garden. We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home from the very beginning. The innkeepers are down to earth and the home itself is lovely. We enjoyed resting on the second floor veranda and feeling the afternoon breeze. We would recommend this... More

What a great couple and it was fun to be able to use my herbal, nutrition knowledge to have wonderful food for special diets. I am so glad our outdoor "lanai" was enjoyed so much. We can't wait until next year when we get to have Lita and Rick again! More

We were pleasantly surprised, actually amazed at what a great place this is to stay. The house itself, the amenities and the plethora of outdoor sitting areas around the property. We well certainly return again. We can not say enough about the inn keepers! Breakfast was also delightful,
