went on a golf outing and the rooms were terrible for the price. We actually had a hole from rotting wood in our balcony roof. The restaurant was not open because "something big broke" and when it was it was not good. The breakfasts were good and the staff was helpful but the place needs totally updating. The course was... We were in a creek side room, which smelled awful, had horrible beds, and paper thin walls. We had to call management about the late night noise from upstairs. There were only 3 towels for the four of us, and they failed to give us additional ones when they made up the rooms. There is a nice space with tables... More

The Waynesville Inn is an excellent place to stay, Great location close to Asheville. Staff is extremely couterous. Rooms are spacious & Clean. Excellent food The Breakfast Buffet is amazing with the amount of food served. You will not leave hungry from here. The food in the Tap Room is also very good and very reasonably priced

Yes the historic rooms have been there a long time but they have character and are very comfortable. This was our second stay there and both times have been delightful. The breakfast was excellent and the golf course was beautiful. Groupon and Living Social deals are an absolute steal.

Yes, the place needs an update. The inside of all the buildings are shabby however, everything was very clean. That said, I rated it very good because the Living Social deal we had was phenomenal for the price. Golf here is terrific. 27 holes. Some designed by famous architect Donald Ross. Highly recommend the Blue Ridge and Dogwood nines. They... More

I loved the pool and the restaurant was wonderful! Cannot say enough good things about the wait staff. They were all very professional, friendly, and welcoming. However.......I think it is very sad that the owners have let the rooms go to the point that I would never recommend to friends or family and I will never stay there again. *Television,... More

In a beautiful setting. Hotel is dated and rooms do not reflect price. Linens were cheap commercial quality. Towels were like sandpaper. Room was large but lacked the quality you would except for the price. $178 per night. Had issue with ranger on golf course. Very rude.

We had a golf course room with a mountain view in the background that was stunning.should do some remodelling, but We enjoyed our stay, and We will be back . The breakfasts were excellent, and We cant say enough about the staff.... More

Very outdated. Air conditioner is terrible...humidity in rooms is almost 100%...everything damp, moldy, musty smell!! Electrical outlets don't work. No exhaust or vent in moldy bathroom! Towels stay damp! Carpet is growing God knows what!! Don't stay here! It will make you sick!!

These folks bent over backwards to accommodate us. 1st, we had car trouble and couldn't make the original reservation time. 2nd, they changed the reservation to another week but we got lost. 3rd, when we finally arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received - even though we were very late. The entire staff was super friendly -... More
