We stayed two nights in the "historic" section and overall had a good experience and would return, even though neither of us play golf. The place is beautiful and relaxing, the grounds are well maintained, the complimentary breakfast buffet is superb (try the made to order omelets), and the evening restaurant is a pretty good deal, too. Sadly, the room,... More

Loved Waynesville!!!! The town was so quaint and laid back. Played golf at Balsam mountain preserve and it was amazing! Beautiful scenery and thee course was awesome to play. The Waynesville inn is older but clean and served the best breakfast buffet that was included. Didnt get to play the course but it look very nice

I upgraded to the Mountainview when I made reservations. The bed was so uncomfortable my partner slept in a chair. The TV is old style and at night was unable to hookup the computer. The wi-fi kept dropping and connection was terrible. The phone in the room didn't work and the pool wasn't inspected so it wasn't avsilable. BUT...the staff... More

We stayed in the historic rooms. It was totally covered in dark wood paneling. It has wall to wall carpet and one King sized bed. They had turned the heat off and it got really cold so we had to ask for a floor heater as you can not regulate your own temperature. The mattress pad was way too small... More

This is the second time we have stayed at the Waynesville Inn. The first time was in a Mountain View room and this time the Historic Room. We love the area, the location, and the staff go above and beyond and really seem to enjoy their jobs. The wi-fi was very reliable. The breakfast is the best hotel breakfast we've... More

A very enjoyable stay at this property. Check-in was very easy and our very comfortable room overlooked the golf course and the mountains in the distance. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast that was included in our package, best grits that I have ever eaten. Did not play golf but the golf courses were in... More

Our room was great overlooking the golf course and distant mountains. The room was large with a king size bed. We also had a large balcony. The location is also great 5 minutes to historic Waynesville with fun shopping, Brew Pubs and restaurants. The Inn's two dinning rooms had excellent atmosphere, good food and attentive service. We are also already... More

We stayed in a mountain view room and the mountains, the golf course, the grounds were all beautiful. Very peaceful scenery. Our room was clean however, the bathroom smelled a little musky. The bed was rock hard and I could barely sleep. The spa was unorganized. We made an appointment a week in advance only to show up and they... More

Nice older golf resort with golf at your doorstep. It is not The Greenbrier or the Homestead but is clean and comfortable for the price. Staff very friendly and food was good. Golf shop not helpful at all to accommodate a single, should take hospitality lessons from their staff who seem to get it. Golf courses fun and in good... More
