I've been going to Waynesville Inn for over 14 years, every August and the best thing about it, it is always what you expect and very traditional. The Golf view rooms are the best for couples, altho you have to walk to the main building, which we don't mind. The staff is cheerful and always eager to assist. The tap... More

Spent 3 days and 2 nights at the inn in one of their Golf view units. There were 5 couples and we all had a great time. The accommodations were very spacious and the views from the balconies were fabulous. The breakfast which is included in the package was very extensive and the service was very good. Five of us... Spent two nights in an expected vintage room. Nice woodwork and bath. however the staff was difficult to understand despite their use of the English language. A cosmopolitan education to the staff would be beneficial. Great cinimon rolls at the complimentary homecooked breakfast!

While our staff does consistently receive high marks from our guests, we will never stop working each day to make everyone more knowledgeable and helpful. I will pass along your compliments about the cinnamon rolls ... I agree, they are to die for! Safe travels! More

We were a 3 car, 2 dog caravan moving our son and girlfriend to western North Carolina, we needed a one night stay that would accommodate 2 dogs as well! No problem! The young man at the registration counter couldn't have been sweeter - extremely helpful. After driving for many hours we relaxed in the "19th Hole" pub, delightful staff... More

We booked a 2 day stay and ended up leaving after 1. We would have cancelled out altogether but the weather was not fit for driving in. The first room we were shown was in the main hotel. The room was dark, the furniture shabby, and the bathroom in need of a reno. We went back to reception and was... More

We've stayed at the Inn several times. If one expects a five-star experience, stay down the road at Grove Park. However, if you are looking for a quaint, middle-of-the-road experience that is reminiscent of days gone by, this is your place! Nestled in the mountains, this property offers lovely mountain views, great walking paths, a sweet little restaurant, and a... More

Spent three nights as part of guys golf outing. Golf package rates made for an exceptional value. The entire golf, aspect of the vacation was impeccable.Golf shop staff, starters, pace of play and the golf course all exceeded expectations. Room was fine. Roomy and clean though somewhat dated and worn. Air conditioner, tv, refrigerator free wifi and plenty of clean,... More

First you should know this is three 9 hole courses and you play two different ones for a round. We played the Carolina and the Dogwood Course. It was beautiful. Neat elevation changes and some narrow tee boxes.A wonderful afternoon. It's a shame though to see it so slow and quite. Doesn't seem to have the appeal it once did.... More

I'm so glad you enjoyed your recent time on the course! Thank you for taking a few moments to post a review. While we are coming off some of the busiest occupancy weekends in my time at the property, afternoons on the course tend to be a bit less crowded, especially during the week. In any event, thank you for... More

I must've stayed at a different "resort" than other reviewers. Saw the suggestion to stay in the main lodge so tried that. Pretty sure it has never been updated. Carpet was from decades ago; smelled stale; couldn't open windows; dirty window sills, original carpet accompanied by original bedspreads. Restaurant service was terrible. Have never been in a restaurant where the... More
