We had asked for handicap room, and had been booked in older part of main hotel, which has no handicapped rooms. Staff was very helpful in correcting that and placed us in one of the separate buildings further away from our group, but which was nicer and had good handicapped facilities. There was renovation going on, and phones had been... More

My husband, son and I stayed here at the end of June. We were spending our days in Asheville and needed a hotel that was in budget (not necessarily in the city). I found a groupon deal for two nights for the price of one. I read all of the reviews and then booked our trip. We stayed in the... More

After reading some of the reviews, we were a bit hesitant to give this inn a try, even with a great deal on Groupon. Well, we are very glad we did! The staff was very helpful and courteous and the room was perfectly FINE. We had a large room with a comfy king bed and lovely balcony that overlooked the... More

We advised the hotel that we had a dog. The room we were given as a result was a dump. Hardly no one was staying in this branch of the hotel. It was the equivalent of a camp setting. Minimal services. We ended up leaving early.

We are very sorry to hear your stay did not measure up and you chose to leave early. Indeed, pets are allowed only in our Fairway accommodations, which lie in an older building that is most in need of updating. While we always try to upgrade guests to the best accommodations available, pets preclude us from doing this, for the... More

We've played the three 9-hole courses a handful of times over a 3 yr. period. The courses are in great shape and are challenging but fun. Great for golfers in the mid-range. Tee times are very reasonable in the afternoons if you book through golf.com. Courses open to the public.

I'm glad you have gotten time to enjoy our courses over the past few years. Indeed, while we do have some tremendous views, our course is not quite as penal as many mountain courses. I hope you will find some time to get an afternoon of golf in very soon. Thank you for your review! More

We only stayed one night but went to on site balsam spa two days! The hotel gave us free breakfast buffet -booked thru trip advisor and even upgraded our room. Rooms Very clean but needs updating. The breakfast was amazing made to order omelets, homemade waffles, fruit, etc. Very beautiful grounds and quiet room !

This was a last minute family trip we planned. It was my wife and our 3 kids. We had a great time and our room was spacious. The view we had was breathtaking. We visited the pool twice and the Breakfast was wonderful both days. It's really a laid back location and that is perfect for our family. It's not... More

There aren't a lot of options in the Waynesville area for a weekend visit near town. Waynesville is a great weekend trip from Atlanta. The staff was great, the golf course better than average and food acceptable. Near great shopping, mountain experiences and fine dining. Large rooms and large patio but very dated, ask for a 2nd floor golf and... More

Spouse and I stayed at this hotel for five nights while we looked at real estate in the area. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the pool, although small, was clean. And our room was quiet, and clean. But that's it for positives. The room smelled like mold, especially when coming in after having been out all... More

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your time here. Although we always try to upgrade our guests to accommodations that work best for them, existing reservations over the holiday weekend prevented us from doing so in your case. As for our breakfast, it has always been a staple of our property, since it is not a typical, paltry continental breakfast.... More

We booked two nights to meet up with friends who had children in a nearby camp. I thought the men might sit by the pool while the wives enjoyed the on-premises spa, but the pool was much smaller than the inn's web-site picture would lead you to believe, and the six or so lounge chairs were all taken. I had... More

We were very disappointed to read your review regarding the hospitality you received during your recent visit. In courtesy to our other guests, we did have to take action after excessive noise from the area you were occupying was reported around midnight. Perhaps the request to vacate the area could have been delivered more politely. As for your restaurant experience,... More
