The Waynesville Inn Golf Resort & Spa is located so close to downtown Waynesville and all points of interest - Hazelwood, Frog Level, etc. It is a comfortable hotel with a nice golf course, tap room, restaurant. Not much 'wow' factor - but a comfortable, convenient hotel with a friendly staff.

We recently stayed at the Waynesville Inn on a Travelzoo voucher that included free breakfast, a hotel credit and an "modern room". Check in was easy because we arrived pretty late. We were given a room in a section away from the main hotel that had a nice golf course view. The room itself was large but not in anyway... More

Wife and I spent the weekend here during snowstorm. Staff very friendly and the resort is nice. The snow deffinitley added to the experience. It is older, but our room in the main lodge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good.

This Travelzoo deal inspired us to take a weekend to visit the Biltmore House in nearby Asheville. The pic looked really nice online. In person, I'd say it was not nearly as grand. It is historic, but instead of being quaint, it just looked dated. Woodwork in our room (non-mtn view) was authentic, but everything else just looked like the... More

I stayed in the main lodge at the Inn. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was very good. The value was excellent. I would definitely return for another visit. The Inn is old and rustic. You are in the mountains so the hotel fits the area very well.

I absolutely loved my visit to this resort. Yes, it's old. No, it isn't updated. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The main lodge and grounds are absolutely stunning. I visited over Christmas and it was decorated beautifully. I loved the charm of the lodge and the common areas. I even snapped a photo of my 13 year... More

I've stayed here and had meetings here. I stayed here while I was in transition to NC. The rooms are quite interesting, and they have retained the look and feel of a very old facility. The bar was populated by a couple of locals who obviously knew the bartender. I was expecting more received less.

We purchased the Travelzoo Deal since we were traveling to that area to tour Western Carolina University (30 minutes away). We stayed in the Golfview unit that backed to the golf course. Since we purchased a Travelzoo deal, I don't have complaints on the value- my posting would be different if I paid full value. Please note that this hotel... More

I was excited to have a nice anniversary getaway with my husband, but I wish I had gone somewhere else. The tile floor as we walked into the room was so dirty, I'm not sure if it's been cleaned...ever. The carpet was also the type where you want to leave your shoes on. The bed was hard as a rock,... Florida heat finally got to me in September. The shoulder season of travel to the area had begun and so had the deals. Between Golf Now and hotel deals I stayed 6 nights at the resort and golfed daily for a total of $550. Breakfast was inclued in the deal. Dinners were Prime Rib in the Tap Room at the... More
